Happy New Year to my clients and friends! Sounds like I am still unable to open officially. I am, however, always available as a listening ear. This is a very tough and bizarre time and my biggest concern is, AND ALWAYS will be, MENTAL HEALTH. I know for myself I am personally processing a lot of emotions. I no longer believe the media narrative “We are in this together” but I do believe: You are not alone. If you need help finding any resources or, as mentioned, someone to talk to, please contact me.

Hi 👋 I’m Sam- the face behind Hair By Sam!

After doing hair in South Calgary for almost 12 years, I decided to follow my ❤️ and move to Cochrane at the beginning of this year

I’ve been overwhelmed by the success and happiness it has brought me, being followed by many of my beloved original clientele and meeting so many fantastic local people around me!

I’m pleased to continue making hair health my priority and offering CHI ammonia free color and products, Olaplex treatments, Mydentity low ammonia color and a few other favs!

My passion is and has always been promoting self confidence and positivity to everyone in my chair. I love to be a listening ear, share advice and hair knowledge & be a safe and happy space to visit!

2020 has definitely been a unique year so far, but from the view in the mountains with my love, Steve, and our 4 pets, the future is bright!

I am currently booking into August and happily accepting new clients- COME VISIT :)
