In just a couple of weeks the social network called Webtalk is going to launch a new program called Ad Rewards. When it does, it will begin to pay out to its members one half of the revenue it collects from the ads on the platform. That payout will be based on the likes, comments and shares that a member's posts receive as well as the posts of that members referrals. Webtalk will effectively be paying people for the content that brings others to the platform and keeps them there.

Anyone with an online business should use this platform to communicate with its partners as that communication could end up forming a new revenue stream.

For a long time now I have been waiting for a successful version of what I call Incentivized Eyeball Acquisition platforms. I believe Webtalk is going to be what I've been waiting for.

Eyeball Acquisition platform are platforms twhose business is to acquire eyeballs and then charge people to put their stuff in front of those eyeballs. When you post on Facebook, you bring eyeballs to their platform and advertisers pay to put stuff in front of them. You are making Facebook money and Facebook is keeping every cent.

An Incentivized Eyeball Acquisition platform has a business model just like Facebook except it gives you an incentive to bring those eyeballs. It may pay you for referring people to the platform. It may pay you for engaging with the content on the platform or for posting good content on the platform.

Webtalk is doing that. And it appears to have a solid financial backing that is going to allow it to complete this concept with a good product. It is doing this with investors and not depending on members who are using the platform for its revenue.

I've seen several failed attempts at this idea, but I'm convinced that this group is doing it right. I'm not investing much money, but lots of time at this point.
