Meet Erin, M.A. CCC-SLP!
Erin is originally from a small town in Northern Michigan. Erin graduated with a double major in psychology and communication disorders in 2012 and with a Master's of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology in 2015. She is licensed in Michigan and Nevada. Erin has worked in numerous settings including inner city schools, private practice, home health, and transitional living facilities. Erin has a passion for working with diverse speech therapy populations that stems from having a father who immigrated to the U.S. as well as family in Japan, Taiwan, England, and Scotland. She enjoys traveling to see her family as well as drinking tea and watching documentaries with her two cats. Erin chose the field of speech-language pathology after spending time in speech therapy as a child. She enjoys the intersection of psychology, education, and counseling that speech language pathology allows. She believes in the provision of services that are affirming and respectful of neurodivergent populations, LGBTQIA populations, and culturally diverse populations.

Meet Mayra, M.S. CCC-SLP

Mayra was born in Mexico City and moved to Las Vegas, NV in 2001. She graduated with her Master's Degree in Communication Science and Disorders from Emerson College, in 2022. Mayra is a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology from the American-Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Additionally, she holds educational licensure in Speech-Language Pathology in Nevada. Prior to becoming a Speech-Language Pathologist, Mayra taught Adapted Physical Education and Autism in Clark County School District. Mayra currently works in the school setting, and has worked in other settings including Early Intervention, inpatient rehabilitation, and skilled nursing facilities. Mayra is a certified SpeakOut! provider for those with Parkinson's Disease.

Mayra enjoys spending time with her husband John, their three golden doodles, and her family. She likes traveling, reading, and being active outdoors, doing Zumba, attending sporting events and concerts.

During school breaks, students may experience learning loss or a decline in academic skills known as the "summer slide”. Engaging in reading and educational activities over the summer can help mitigate this slide and keep students academically sharp!💬
That’s why, we are offering tutoring opportunities throughout the summer for grades K-5, as well as school readiness assessments for children starting kindergarten this Fall!

By maintaining a focus on learning during the summer, students can be better prepared and more successful when they return to school in the fall! We are here to help!!💪
