Trying to keep cool on a super hot day in Portland! Poppin’ some tags from my most recent pallet liquidation delivery. Some tools are necessary when you start down the road of pallet and inventory auctions/buying. These are the ones I’ve found the most useful.

📦 Just got an unexpected pallet I thought was going to be small household items & it turned out to be a lot more than expected! Some of my fave pieces so far are a Dyson vacuum, roomba, jewelry & even some home decor! I’ve got my work cut out for me with this pallet, but it’s always fun to get more than expected. 🙌

💕Kate Spade Novelty Heaven! This collection of novelty bags is my favorite. I found each one of these in a different place, there is even one from BRITAIN! One of the many benefits of being a reseller is being able to start your own collections + help contribute to others !

🤗What’s trending doesn’t always mean what sells for the highest return! Fast fashion is in one day & out the next which is why my strategy for reselling is all about looking for comps not just the current trends. I love to focus on styles that have a certain timelessness 🙌

Not all of us are born organized for some it’s a daily practice! Here’s some tips on how I stay organized when listing my items.

✨I sort all the items I’m going to list first shirts, pants, dresses & they all have a separate bag.

✨ I separate the highest profit items so that they can be listed first.

✨When I list the items as I go I put them in a clear poly bag with a inventory sticker that has a unique sku & stack them in order in numbered storage boxes. When I have dresses I hang them in order on racks with inventory stickers on the hanger.

I hope this inspires you to get organized or helps you fine tune your current organization!

📦It was kind of busy today....nothing like a island full of orders to make you feel like it’s all worth it!

📮It’s okay to have a small stack especially when it’s worth more!

Don’t let these tall stacks on the gram fool you if you’re new to reselling! Sometimes just one poly mailer has a better net profit than a whole stack of sales! We are all on different journeys with different closets let the stack inspire & not make you feel like you’re not as successful💕

😌That moment before you bag your order you sold...check for these things!

✨Price tags/Clearance tags from the thrift store! Remove them before shipping!

✨Lint! Double check that the item is freshly lint rolled so that it looks it’s absolute best when it arrives!

✨Make sure it doesn’t have any defects/stains that you may have missed! Sometimes when we are listing large quantities we can miss details double check!

😅Why didn’t anyone tell me being a reseller involves having so many dang boxes...Does anyone else have boxes in boxes with lids?

✨Inventory organization is 🗝 Read the caption below to learn some of the ways I stay organized in my reselling business!

I use individual numbers that are a combination of sku, weight & original cost making a unique inventory number for each item that is being processed.

I use sticky labels to attach these numbers to the items hangers, storage bags or shoes depending on the type of item.

I have all of my items stored in numerical order so I can easily access each of them when they sell.
