Through allusions to the sea, Wasting Water is the more jazzy and upbeat track from the album, that explores the wonders and newness of recently formed relationships. This song is my attempt at being romantic I suppose 🤣 🌊 🎸 I hope you enjoy it!
Rainy days are for writing more music.
Old piano, new song. Almost time to get back into the studio 🎼
Wonder is the title track from my album.
I wrote the guitar and lyrics for this almost 10 years ago, and this song explores the notion of loss light-heartedly, referencing the cyclic nature of life and energy.
This song was written for everyone, because we will all experience losing someone close to us through time.
Christine Watterson - Wonder (audio track) Track 5 off Christine Watterson's Album "Wonder" 2022
Track 3 from my album ‘Wonder’ is String Theory; the first of a triplicate of tracks on the album that explore themes associated with this concept proposed in theoretical physics. Each song is presented in a different style, with this first String Theory taking a rock-style approach.
I first learnt about string theory from my best friend during conversation about ten years ago, and then I briefly explored this more during my chemistry degree. The ideas it proposes are both perplexing and comforting, and but nevertheless I am still astounded by it and how it relates to our fundamental existence within the broader scope of the universe.
This story in this song aims to inspire you to think differently about what happens with our ‘lives’ when we move on.
I hope you enjoy it 🎸🪐💫

The Storm Before the Calm is one of my favourite songs from the album. I came up with the piano, melodies and some of the lyrics for this song when I was 15 years old.
This song explores the concept of self growth that can be achieved through overcoming personal adversities. We are all, and always, capable of
change for the betterment of ourselves.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I do 🖤⛈🌊
