The Modern nursery is full of plain colors and pastels although, pleasing to an adult, it is not stimulating to a new baby.
Occupational therapists are seeing more and more of a need for babies all over the world to be exposed to high contrast colors and patterns to aid in eyesight development and mental stimulation.
The patterns found in the Thula baba patented Shwe Shwe fabric are used for their similarity to mathematical geometric patterns and repetitive nature, the shapes can be found in and around nature so children will be able to observe the patterns that would be around them in day to day life and in their nursery.
