The public pettiness of certain social media hasbara advocates is unbelievable. Yesterday, one could see two prominent social media activists going at it on X and FB because one shared the other’s meme without tagging the creator, and the other refused to comply.

Grown men. Sort of.

Neither of these personages writes anything of significance. Two egotists with nothing of significance to say who both love to flap their gums. One is a flamboyant LGBTQ activist, the other a moderate, parve, fence-riding daati leumi guru wannabe.

One critical point. The sentiments of the screenshot above are perverse. No one who makes social media posts should entertain the notion or suggest that they are akin to soldiers on the ground who risk life and limb. The arrogance of these small people is astounding. This would be true if either of these people created quality content that could truly truly inform, educate, or inspire anyone, besides the echo chambers of cloying hasbara talking points. The fact that they create self-serving, virtue signaling, drivel is even more perverse.

This isn’t advocacy. It is narcissism masquerading as activism. Egotism personified. Heaven forbid our enemies should see these online caricatures bickering with one another.
