He was not intended to be a repeat character, but he was just too well liked for that. In honor of Goofy--go have some fun, get silly, and let us know what you did to "goof off" today.

Today is National Crunchy Taco Day & French Bread Day....I can only think of one place to get both of these delicious foods: EPCOT is my place to be today!

I’m seeing a lot of posts and articles about individual attraction selection and genie+, whether they are “worth it”—there are a lot of opinions flying around. Having just spent time in all the parks, I’ll be the first to say it’s not straight forward. It depends on the park and the day, and your priorities—Be on the look out for more details on how to make them work for you, and in the interim if you have any questions feel free to message me.

Today’s adventures included downtown Disney and resort time. Tried out Gideon's Bakehouse as I’ve heard it’s so good there is always a line. While there was a line, the wait was not long and service was quick. Not disappointing—Very large, thick, delicious cookies for a few in our party, and I grabbed a bag of the Gideon’s Bites to get some variety, since I cannot come frequently enough to sample everything. They too are good, but the chocolate coating detracts for the cookie flavors IMO. Also IMO the cold brew, was amazing and the star of the show—I had the pumpkin chai cold brew—SO GOOD!! Add this to your list for your next Disney adventure.

Alden’s complaining about his kids cup landed him a GIANT glass cup, and daddy crafted an extra long straw just for him.

I’m excited to say that Cheshire Cat cafe is open in magic kingdom, as it was closed on our last trip. The cat tail is a great sweet snack, and the not too late tea has its own unique flavor; it’d be great as a cool down on a hot afternoon!

Blackrock Mountain State Park is amazing! Located on the eastern continental divide, it has lots of tent/camper sites, cabins (some are being renovated and have breathtaking views), a few pioneer sites on a backpacking loop, hiking with waterfalls and views, and a lake with fishing. It’s also near tallulah gorge and not too far from Helen. So glad the rain cleared out this morning and left us with cool fall weather all day.
