The Wine-ers
A place where you can “wine” away all day long
As Sibeał says its ałł about słow cooking and indirect heat
Even tough it’s damn hot, it’s still a great evening for a barbie!
Slow cooking prime rib roast at 300 over a 2 hour period.(there wiłł be łeftovers for next weeks sandwiches)
Will have some roasted potatoes and barbecue corn paired with a 2008 Grangehurst Nikeła (34% Can. Sauv., 33% Pinotage, 32% Shiraz, 9% ʼetłpt & 2 % Mourvedre).
Getting hungry every time I open the barbie😋

Great to see so many joining Wine-ers and liking it, but nobody is “wine-ing”! How about it?
Roy brought this interesting and lovely California PN; full of red fruit and vibrant acidity. One reason why the 2004 Hillside Shiraz felt overextracted
Wondering if this is still in top shape? Will find out when Roy Thomas will come later
My favourite wine of last night’s XIX dinner?
The Brancaia Tre 2015 in magnum. Such an excellent example!
Still delicious!
3 different clones of Cab.Sauv. With some addition of Petit Verdot and Malbec. From Richard Cleave’s Phantom Creek vineyard. Fantastic vintage according to Howard Soon
