To give you an idea… this took three hours.

A lady , who wishes to remain anonymous, contacted me to clear this grass verge of w**ds. She does not live near or opposite this verge!
HOW AWESOME!?

Now, there are w**ds and there are w**ds! Tall ones, spikey ones, spreading ones, prickly ones and there is these...... 😬..... they are a very fine leaf w**d which you can’t turn over with a fork as they just dig their heels in and re-root just to tick you off!!
The only way to tackle these little buggers is to hand pull each one...yikes! Then you mulch like crazy to stop any seeds germinating and pray they don’t come back in force to haunt you.
To give you an idea - this took three hours of bum shuffling 😂😂

Definition of frustration is when you love gardening but can’t because of physical injury. If you are injured or know of someone who is injured or incapacitated give them the gift of a gardener.
You may think I’m expensive but the smile that you could put on someone’s face is priceless.

Negotiating this little rocky outcrop around the pool and thinking to myself “please don’t fall in, please don’t fall in!”. I managed to bend and stretch into all sorts of pretzel shapes but I got it done! Yay me!

From “trouble in Paradise” to dreaming of pina colada’s on a tropical island.

This family can now look forward to a relaxing Christmas with their children and extended siblings by doing some forward planning.
Only NINE weeks to Christmas, the heat is coming, the w**ds are growing! ACT now to prevent a BIG problem 🌷🌷🌷

They say that”looks are deceiving” and I will attest to that for sure! You may say “that looks pretty easy ... won’t take long” perhaps?
NOPE!
Artificial grass is great but once the w**ds get underneath the edges it is super hard to get out.
My lovely clients took this on board and will be spraying the little nasties when they can . They also looked after me with a coffee and water which was most appreciated.
This job took four hours .

Another challenge accepted! It’s getting hotter now and the w**ds are loving it!
Thankfully there was no couch grass to deal with and despite the w**ds being rather mature they were relatively easy to pull out.
Client was advised to spray paving with a Multiw**d spray as all the w**ds had already seeded.

Couch grass in garden beds is a gardeners nightmare as the roots go down forever! None-the less, three hours work for these babies done and looking good again. Happy days 🌷🌷
