Our Second Back to School Backpack Drive! 📚✏️✂️🎒Help us raise funds to donate backpacks filled with school supplies to various organizations. Sponsor a backpack for $25!
Each backpack will include 2 mechanical pencils, 1 glue stick, 2 notebooks, 1 eraser, 2 highlighters, 1 pair of scissors, 1 box of Crayola markers, 1 box of Crayola crayons, 1 box of colored pencils, 1 pack of index cards, and 1 pencil box.

Emergency Relief Drive for Victims of the Earthquake in Turkey
Per the urgent call from the Turkish Embassy, Manassas Mosque in collaboration with Imam Al-Asr Youth Group, Al Hadi Learning Organization, and WhoisHussain will be collecting, packaging, and delivering the items to the Turkish Embassy in D.C. which will be sent immediately via Turkish Airlines to earthquake victims. Because of immediate need, all items must be dropped off by Sunday, February 12th at noon.

In collaboration with Jaferia Islamic School, we are hosting a week long toy drive! Toys will be donated to John’s Hopkins Children’s Center. Venmo: wih-maryland.
On August 27th, our volunteers packed 50 backpacks filled with school supplies for Baltimore Schools, over 80 meals for Elizabeth House and we had our first blood drive! This was our first Hussain Day program and we hope to plan more in the future. Globally, each Who is Hussain chapter also conducted a blood drive on the same day in an effort to break the world record for the amount of blood donations received in one day. Thank you to everyone for making this event a huge success! Special thanks to for making this video of Hussain Day.

Our team donated goodie bags to Ronald McDonald House in Baltimore. Each bag was filled with sanitizer, candy, a board game, colored pencils, and a word search book. Ronald McDonald House is a nonprofit family and children’s charity dedicated to supporting families with sick children in their time of need. Thank you for the opportunity! ❤️
