Dat Meindert Talma al lang in het vak zit weten we natuurlijk. Maar dat hij zโ€™n 25-jarig jubileum (!) als Neerlandsโ€™ onbekendste popster kan vieren is iets om trots op te zijn. Dat gaat dan ook niet onopgemerkt voorbij. In 2022 zullen alle Talma-platen live de r***e passeren. Elke maand zullen twee albums integraal en in chronologische volgorde gespeeld worden in Vera, Groningen. Het mooie is: al die shows krijgen een voorprogramma van een eigenzinnige Friese act. En om het nog mooier te maken: al die acts hebben zich gestort op het oeuvre van Talma en zijn met een fraaie cover de studio uitgerold. Daar is een uniek album โ€œDe Tijd is een Sc**ftโ€ uit voortgekomen die via de Friese Vinyl Club zal worden uitgebracht. Deze plaat zal op 3 april feestelijk aan Meindert gepresenteerd worden. In deze matinee-show zullen alle deelnemende acts hun cover live gaan spelen.

Surprise! My new single 'The Wave' is out now!

I was asked to be part of this project and cover the work of the one and only Meindert Talma. This turned out to be a very cool collaborative project that had me creating this track together with Cornรฉ de Wolf Ivar Lofstrรถm Emiel Prins Kyle de la Porte and produced by Stijn van Gestel , recorded in TrompTheater . We had a lot of fun doing this.

Iโ€™ll be the supporting act for Meindert Talma at his show in Vera Groningen , on May 29! (Tickets: link in instagram bio)

WE DID THIS. I am beyond proud of my team and myself for making it to the stage of .nl this year. Working together with was an amazing experience in a year where sometimes not a lot seemed possible but also a year where accomplishments were celebrated. Pop, soul and jazz influences come together in a theatrical and sparkling โœจ live show where emotions meet his reflective personality.
