The Department of Agrarian Reform Region 7 Regional Director Atty. Resty C. Osias and Assistant Regional Director for Operations Atty. Louie L. Naranjo visited all the Municipal Agrarian Reform Offices of DAR Negros Oriental North last November 17, 2021.
In this activity, RD Osias spared a time to talk with all the DARMO personnel to address their concerns and queries in their respective areas. He also checked the LTI and ARBDSP accomplishments, as of this date, of each DARMO.
He was accompanied by DARPO-Negros North PARPO Elvira Bation and other DARPO Negros staff.
At least 100 beneficiaries in Central Visayas received Certificate of Land Ownership Award (CLOA) given by the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Regional Office.

The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Office of the Undersecretary for Special Concerns conducts a Data Privacy Impact Workshop today November 11, 2021, in Golden Prince Hotel, Brgy. Kamputhaw, Cebu City.
The said activity aims to assess the impact and importance of the Data Privacy Act of 2012 in daily work routines of the DAR employees, especially in sorting information and data to the public.
DAR 7 Regional Director Atty. Resty C. Osias, in his message, emphasized that the RA 10173, otherwise known as the Data Privacy Act of 2012, is a law that seeks to protect all forms of information, be it private, personal, or sensitive.

At least 100 farmer-beneficiaries in Central Visayas possessed a lot given by the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Regional Office VII through the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP).
The Republic Act 6657, otherwise known as CARP, is a law that allows the government to redistribute lands to landless farmers in the Philippines.
Today October 14, 2021, DAR Cebu Provincial Office distributes more than 50 CLOAs to the farmer-beneficiaries in Barangay Vito, Minglanilla town of Cebu.
Last week October 7-8, 2021, during the conduct of DAR joint provincial visit and assessment in the Province of Bohol, DAR Regional Director Atty. Resty C. Osias also led the distribution of CLOAs in Brgy. Vallehermoso, Carmen and Brgy. Ilihan, Ubay Bohol.
Thirty-three farmer-beneficiaries in Carmen with 47.9 land hectares and 11 in Ubay with 14.1 land hectares, a total of 62 hectares of land in the Province of Bohol.
Paulo Camposo, a resident in Barangay Vallehermoso, Carmen Bohol emotionally said that he was so grateful to the government because after more than 30 years of occupying the land as settlers, now he owns the ground that he can call his own that is a big help to him and his family as the successor of the land.
“Dako jud kaayo ang akong pasalamat sa DAR ilabi na sa mga opisyalis nga nagpasiugda aning programaha nga sama nako nga usa ka mag uuma nga maka angkon og yuta nga mamahimu nako nga kabilingan sa akong mga anak” Paulo Camposo said.
Atty. Osias, in his statement to the farmer-beneficiaries, also encourages to organize an Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Organization (ARBOs) to enable them to produce products and distribute them under LinksFARMM project of the DAR.
Aside from the distribution of CLOAs, the Regional Legal Division and Cebu Provincial Legal Division also rendered legal assistance to the farmers in Cebu Province.

The Department of Agrarian Reform Regional Director Atty. Resty C. Osias conduct visits in DARPO-Bohol Tagbilaran City, Bohol today October 8, 2021.
He gave a short talk to all personnel to address some questions and queries in the provincial office, aside from that, he also encouraged the employees to get vaccinated for their safety against COVID19.
DARPO Bohol personnel express their gratitude and support to Secretary Bro. John Castriciones as he vies for a seat in the Senate.

The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Negros Oriental Provincial Office conducted a two-day 3rd Quarter Assessment last September 29-30, 2021, in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental.
The activity aims to check and monitor the status of the Province’s Annual Targets in Land Tenure Services (LTS), Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Development Support Program (ARBDSP), and Agrarian Justice Delivery Program (AJDP).
DAR VII Regional Director Atty. Resty Osias, together with the Assistant Regional Director for Operations, Atty. Louie Naranjo; Assistant Regional Director for Administration, Arthur Dulcero, Regional Division Chiefs, and selected staff attended the event and shared their inputs and observations to address the issues and concerns which hamper the delivery of targets.
To address all the concerns, the MARPOs were asked to present the status of their claim folders so that immediate actions should be taken in moving forward the status codes of each claim folder. Some issues and concerns pertaining to other partner agencies of the DAR were also resolved and/or with concrete actions taken.
The DAR Provincial Office of Negros Oriental is set to award lands to more than a thousand Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries, provide support services to the farmers, and attend to their legal issues and concerns.

The Department of Agrarian Reform VII Regional Director Atty. Resty Osias, attended the conduct of Regular Presidential Agrarian Reform Coordinating Committee (PARCCOM) meeting in Hotel Essencia, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental.
The agenda of the meeting is to address the landholdings for inclusion and exclusion from the targets of DAR Provincial Offiice in Negros Oriental.
The activity was attended by the PAROs of DARPO Negros Oriental, NGOs, Farmers Organization, Landowners, indigenous people, DENR, and Farmer Beneficiaries.
