It’s personally my favourite track that I’ve ever made and I prefer it to the original version that came out last July. I feel stripping back the track to a few elements really brings out the emotion at the core of Blinding Lights 🎶 ⁣

My upcoming single Blinding Lights originally started out as an acoustic track with just Amy’s vocal and me on my guitar. I was going through a tough time in my life so a stripped back version felt like the right way to write the song 🎸 ⁣

When I was 19 I went travelling around South East Asia and spent a couple days staying in this tiny village on the border between Vietnam & Laos. ⁣

I had no idea what to do with my life but my mate Andrew who I was travelling with was talking about this music production course he was about to start. I thought that’d be a cool hobby to start at uni, had no idea such a passing thought would change my life completely. ⁣
