Here are some answers to frequently asked questions about Aiken Music Fest. If you are a first time attendee, these tips might be useful!
We bring touring bands, with original material, to Aiken to help keep Aiken in the regional musicians network. We’ve earned a lot of trust, based on our previous 4 years, that it will be a great show with top notch musicians. We also have a local singer/songwriter opening at 7.
We are very thankful to our volunteer team - Brad Williams, Kyla Maull, Amy Moore, John Howard, Anna Lipscomb, Katy Lipscomb, Meleah Powers, and of course, Rick and Cathy Cram. Our tastes run toward rock/blues/jazz/Americana. If you’d like to help sponsor our goals, you can get details on the AikenMusicFest.Com website!
You can get tickets at the gate. We have a huge 6 acre field and lots of space to spread out - so we don’t “sell out”. (Although, one day, we hope to!) $15.
If you want to use a CC, you can buy your tickets on line at AikenMusicFest.Com or go to the Facebook event and buy tickets there. You can even take that action at the gate! Children under 12 are free.
BYO chairs. There are a few chairs and tables available under the Pavillion.
Tailgates are welcome. (We have beer and wine available plus a food truck at every event. So, it isn’t necessary.) You can set up your tailgate area or it is an easy short stroll back to your car.
Lawns games are encouraged. Well managed pets are welcome. Children will find lots of activities to keep them entertained.
Aiken County Crafters have great vendors at every show.
Highfields Event Center has the best sunsets and there is a breeze blowing across the field on even the hottest evenings.
** In the event of rain, the Pavillion can hold a lot of people and the show goes on - unless conditions are hazardous. (We cancelled one show in 4 years... 🤞) Pete, our sound man, can turn it down in close quarters - until we ask him to Turn it Up! Bring your chairs and set them up theatre style under the pavillion.
Directions: 118 Gaston Road - From Richland Avenue, turn N onto Beaufort Street (where the two “Dollar” stores are) and then take your first right. The road will turn to dirt and the welcome sign and gate are in front of you.
Come enjoy a chill evening with fun people at the !
Spread out safely in our 6 acre field and support live music in Aiken this weekend!
