Meet the designer behind Kinda Afifi, whos roots are grounded in both Palestine and Lebanon. This Palestinian-Lebanese creative force, having grown up in Lebanon, founded her brand in 2019.

Despite never having the opportunity to visit Palestine, her profound connection to the land is deeply ingrained, driven by a rich cultural heritage and family ties in the region.
Armed with academic skills, she graduated with a degree in graphic design and further grew her skills with a master’s in luxury brand management. While she may not personally possess the art of embroidery, the talented women in Ain il Helwe, which is one of the largest refugee camps in Saida, Lebanon, serve as both educators and collaborators. Her commitment to uplifting Palestinian women extends beyond fashion, creating meaningful opportunities for empowerment.

Designing each collection is like capturing pieces of my daily experiences, and memories I gain along the way. It’s an intimate journey, where the bits of my experiences come together to tell a story. I get inspired by the things we usually don’t pay much attention to and probably take for granted. It’s about capturing everyday moments and the people we share them with, and Im thankful for those that surround me and the ones I will come to meet.

This is a reminder to slow down, look around, and appreciate the simple pleasures. 🪁
