I was asked tonight where I go when i doodle. Evidently I was oblivious to about 15 minutes of a discussion. Honest answer? I have no idea. Sometimes I can doodle for ten minutes and it feels like hours and I’m here. Other times I can doodle for two hours, it feels like five minutes, and I can’t recall thinking or hearing anything at all. I have gone as much as four hours with the same thing. Sometimes when I snap back... I’m sad to realize I am back. So o must go somewhere good 🤷🏼♀️ but there are times that when i snap back and see what I have doodled... I feel unsettled and upset. This is one of those times. This doodle bothers me. I don’t exactly know why. On the surface I see all the things that annoy me about it: imperfect lines, I can’t make a straight line if I was paid to do it... it’s too busy. Ink bleeds together. It’s trash. But I know for certain it’s not about the surface things. I know it bothers me for why I doodled it and I cannot recall thinking anything whilst in the process. So now it bugs me more. 🤦🏼♀️ sometimes, makes me think I should have real therapy. reference has meaning

It’s been another mentally taxing day staying home. 4th grade math is not for me.... or for the 4th grade elf. 😞 we both took to doodling tonight.
