It has been a journey and I feel super privileged to have stepped on to the turf 100 times for South Africa. Wearing the green and gold, singing the national anthem, never loses its WOW factor! Thank you to everyone who has supported me at any stage of my career! And all the team mates who have stood next to me!

Our beautiful Tata left us today 💔 Blessed to have been loved by such a loyal and special girl! She’s left a big hole in our life and coming home will never feel the same again!

It would have been nice if Drew had his eyes open….but I had just convinced the man to run 21km, I couldn’t ask for too much more🤷🏼‍♀️….

Thoughts about heading back to reality 💭

1) I get to see my dogs tomorrow 🤩

2) What an adventure the last 8 weeks have been. I’m truly blessed to be able to do what I do and to have so many people supporting me along the way.

3) Ending the tournament earlier than expected meant I was able to spend some time with my family. Although I would most DEFINITELY have liked to finish higher- I’m trying to look for the silver lining.

4)How lucky am I to have someone to go home to (figuratively of course- Drew has another week in the UK🙄)

5) Thank goodness I chose a team sport. Going through these 8 weeks alone would have been WAY more difficult. The laughs override the tears.

6) Post tour blues coming in hot…..🔥
