I constructed this outfit five years ago in 2018 when I weighed 400 pounds. I used it again today 130 pounds lighter with improvements that greatly makes it better. A smaller waist, new hairstyle, gloves, a new trident, and improved makeup. The past several years have not been in vain. The best thing an artist can hope for, aside from going to university, is to continue honing their craft.
Working on my first Tailoring piece!
A humbling experience! Looking forward to improving this new skill. Trabajando en sastrería. Una experiencia que te hace humilde. Espero mejorar en esta nueva disciplina.

The 2023 Goodwill’s EcoCouture Fashion Challenge and Gala.
I participated in thisfun design challenge this past Saturday 6/24 in Long Beach that focused on sustainability, redesign, and up-cycling. I am sharing a PowerPoint I put together to share my thoughtful process behind this project as well as everything else I do.
This is the second time I embarked into doing something out of my comfort zone and yet come out victorious with well crafted, thoughtful, and loving results. I hope I made my family and CSULB
Proud.
Thank you and for modeling. You two were wonderful to work with. As well as stunning women.
Thank you laura and Christy For modeling OmarGuttieDesigns

If you did not know I designed and made the costumes for my team. It has been extremely challenging to make costumes for my team and some of my costumers because of the commitment with CSULB university and working with city park kids which brings me joy. But you gotta do what you gotta do to stay afloat, stay in school and pay ur bills. I can’t wait to finish school and been able to work on designing full time.
The colors I chose were vibrant , loud and perfect for the stage. I wanted something sexy playing with the n**e illusion yet not uncomfortable nor too revealing for the ladies and the stage. I enjoyed the process and big thanks to my assistant Maria Guevara that would out her help I would have not finished on time.
So far in my personal assessment, If you want to acquire or improve your technical skills in fashion design or even just learn Los Angeles Trade Technical college is the place to go. I don’t care about what they say about other school and their fancy names and their fancy facilities, LATTC is hands down awesome
