Motor City Ambassadors
Professional Kayak Fishing Team
It's match week Monday!
That means that we are ready to hit you with the Mainstream Tackle & Outdoors starting lineup for the KBT-Kayak Bass Team Series North Region match 6 of 7.
With your Ambassadors currently sitting on top of the North region and looking to start packing some bags for the championship, we find ourself down to two very important matches. With the first of our last two events on Clinton Lake in Clinton Illinois, we will be looking for a repeat performance from the last time we fished there.
With that being said we have our anglers ready and the four making the trip are;
1. Tim DeSmit
2. David Kehrer Jr.
3. Ray Mancuso
4. Peter Belcher
Good luck to these four as they head down this week with hopes of bringing back a big win!
Good luck this weekend to two of our Ambassadors, Ray Mancuso & Zack Soulliere. They will be fishing the Hobie Fishing Bass Open Series on Saginaw Bay this Saturday and Sunday.
After day of much deserved rest, we're happy to say the Ambassadors are on a two win streak! Defending the house for the 2nd time this season.
Your Mainstream Tackle & Outdoors recap.
Saturday morning of the KBT-Kayak Bass Team North region match started off with beautiful weather until the Yachts showed up on St. Clair. This change in the water made it tough for Motor City as the idea of only smallmouth was the plan.
After a good morning bite for angler Zack Soulliere and a good late afternoon bite for Jeremy Baker with help from Ray Mancuso and Tim DeSmit the 10 fish limit was hit and that was that.
That leads us to our MVP performance of the week. And this one was a tough one for us to decide. So we're actually going to go with two. We have Zack Soulliere's morning bite that really put us out to a good average and Jeremy Baker's, clutch time catches to solidify victory.
Winners of the T-Shirts this week will be
Voted for Jeremy: Rita Baker
Voted for Zack: Desirea Leigh
We would also like to thank the Midwest Bass Mob and the Berserker Fishing Club for coming up and fighting with Lake St. Clair we will see you all in a few weeks!
Full event recap coming later tomorrow after a hard fought battle and some much needed rest. Also we will have your Ambassadors MVP announcement and T-shirt giveaway drawing!
There will not be a live for tomorrow's event but pending service we may go live right here on the page with our anglers. You can also follow along on TourneyX.com

Your Motor City Ambassadors took the win on Grand Traverse Bay today. The weather prover to be a difficult day in Northern Michigan.
With all anglers submitting fish from the beginning to the end Motor City finished with a total of 184.00". This win moves the back into a two way tie for 1st place overall in the KBT-Kayak Bass Team North region.
Jeremy Baker was the angler who submit both of our Mainstream Tackle & Outdoors monsterbass and with that we give a congratulations to Rodney Kennon (guessed the length and angler) and Catherine Jeanette-Baker (who also guessed the correct angler). You will be getting a Motor City Ambassadors shirt sent your way!
July will be an off month as we take a much deserved break. We will be back on August 3rd as we attempt to continue to DEFEND THE HOUSE on Lake St. Clair!
A little Mainstream Tackle & Outdoors mid day update for you. Anglers are facing some "interesting" water conditions on Grand Traverse Bay this morning but the fish don't seem to mind. With just under 3 hours to go, Motor City holds a lead but we are still looking for the big ones to add to that total. Keep it up gentlemen!
With week 4 of the KBT-Kayak Bass Team North region upon us. We are back home and ready. This weekend we will be taking to Grand Traverse Bay in search of Michigan gold.
Your Mainstream Tackle & Outdoors anglers heading to the water Saturday are

With two home matches coming up, it's time to make some moves.
Amped Outdoors LLC North Region Standings!
Yesterday, the Ambassadors fell short of the win on Banner Marsh. After a solid effort, all four anglers catching fish, and a late surge in the last hour. We missed out on a few key fish that would have bumped up the total.
Leading the team in submissions was Ray Mancuso who submit 10 fish at over 140 inches (37 to team total). Next was Zack Soulliere who submit 7 fish for 121 inches (88.5 to team total. Peter Belcher submit 50.25 inches with his 3 fish, and Chris Hillenbrand had a few submissions that came off the board with larger submissions..
Team big fish was a 20.25 in largemouth caught by Zack Soulliere. We realized we didn't do a poll, we will have a double chance to win at out next event on Grand traverse bay on the 29th.
A very happy birthday to our very own Mr. David Kehrer Jr. hope it was a good one for you!
It's match week and your Ambassadors are ready to head back down to Illinois for week 3 of KBT-Kayak Bass Team North region action.
This week we are very excited about two anglers that get to make their KBT debut on Banner Marsh.
Your Mainstream Tackle & Outdoors starting four heading back to the Marsh are;
Zack Soulliere,
Ray Mancuso,
Chris Hillenbrand,
and
Peter Belcher.
Zack and Ray are making their 2nd trip this season down to Banner and are looking for redemption on a lake that proved tough on their last trip.
Chris and Peter will be making their KBT debut this weekend! Chris is excited to get back into the team fishing. He was a part of the ambassadors rival Indy Knights in seasons past and we are happy to have him. Peter is also ready to take on Banner Marsh, his last experience with it was from the topwater team that fished the cossroads team event a few years back.
Your Ambassadors weekend recap powered by Mainstream Tackle & Outdoors
This past weekend 4 of your Ambassadors made the trip down to Clinton lake in Illinois. After what started out as some tougher prefishing and a major storm that rolled through Friday night, Saturday morning started off with a bang. Your weekend MVP Mr. Tim DeSmit threw the team's big fish (18.50 in) up early and just wouldn't stop. Tim was on the leaderboard all day, along with George Nemeth and David Kehrer Jr. all having fish that contributed to the ambassadors 159.50 inch total. Zack Soulliere had a field day will all the other species of the lake.
Moving into a tied position for 1st place in the KBT-Kayak Bass Team North Divison, our next match will be on June 15th on Banner Marsh.
We also have chosen the winner of all that voted for Tim, and it must run in the name as our random number generator landed on Tim De Smit (Tim's Dad) congrats Tim, you will be getting a team hoodie sent out to you once we get it made!
We'll have the full recap of this huge road win coming tomorrow with a possible interview from the MVP Mr. Tim de Smit!

We are 10 days away from round 2 of the KBT-Kayak Bass Team North region. On the 25th the Ambassadors will hit the water on Clinton lake down in Illinois.
Coming up short on our last trip down we are looking to right the ship and put a win in our column.
It's time for our Mainstream Tackle & Outdoors starting lineup
The four anglers that are making the trip for Motor City are;
Tim DeSmit making his ambassadors debut. From Twin Lake Mi, Tim has been on some giants here in the mitten state and looks to continue his monster bass hunt in Illinois.
Dave Kehrer from Travers City Mi. is our next angler who will be fishing his first event of the season. Last year Dave came in clutch on the road finding big fish wherever he touched the water.
Our last two anglers are Zackary Soulliere From Gladwin Mi. and George Nemeth From Oahu Hi . Both George and Zack are hungry for a win after fishing in the last event and not getting the result they wanted.
Stay tuned for your chance to guess which Ambassador will post the team's big bass and your chance to win our team giveaway!
The winner of the Motor City Ambassadors and Mainstream Tackle & Outdoors big bass guess was Mike Laritz who was guess 29 out of the 50 who picked Zack. Mike will be receiving his own Motor City Ambassadors team style hoodie! Congrats Mike!
-WEEKEND RECAP -
Saturday the Ambassadors came up short at Banner Marsh. What proved to be some rough prefishing conditions that gave way to a bluebird sky kind of day on Saturday, allowed for home field advantage and lake knowledge to come into play. The home team, Midwest Bass Mob took the win with Motor City following behind in 2nd place and the Berserker club finishing in 3rd.
The Ambassador started out the day slow catching a few short fish early on. As the day progressed, they hit their 10 fish around the 1 o'clock time, leaving them only an hour to upgrade. Jeremy Baker, who submit over ninety inches worth of the team's score found a very late pattern but unfortunately the comeback was not enough.
Big bass for the Ambassadors went to Mr. Zack Soulliere with his 18.50 inch fish. We will random pick a name for the Mainstream Tackle & Outdoors giveaway from the votes for Zack since nobody guessed the length correctly.
Congratulations to the Midwest Bass Mob on their win on Saturday.
On this day we regret to say we as the Ambassadors will no longer be a part of the KFL, however we are quite hopeful of bringing the team back for 2024, in a team style format.
