Under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, border villages are experiencing a remarkable improvement in connectivity.
Happy to have handed over a compensation cheque to the residents of Mago village, in acknowledgment of the land acquired for the construction of 18-km Mago-Thingbu Hydel Road.
The completion of the Road has come as a big relief for locals and defence personnel.
Previously, the journey from Tawang to Mago took nearly two days, but thanks to this new Road, the travel time has been reduced to less than an hour.
I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the Central Government for their support in implementing the PMGSY project, and to Ministry of Home Affairs for ensuring the vital road connectivity to Mago village.
I am pleased to announce that by year-end the road will be blacktopped.
