“To be, or not to be: that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles,
And by opposing end them?” Hamlet
Just watched Hamlet (online… not in person unfortunately) and so it seemed apt to draw a skull!! 💀
And I call this one “Aziraphale tells Crowley he loves him” 😆
Was drawing these two disasters and the base sketch for Crowley made me giggle 😂
Saw a terrapin yesterday so of course the next step is to draw him 😆🐢
Practicing watercolour with some anatomy sketches 🙂
My current work in progress ☺️

Anti-gay purges in Chechnya have included secret abductions, imprisonment, torture, and killing by authorities targeting persons based on their perceived sexuality.
**Erased by James McDermott is a collection of poems with themes of censorship and homophobia. These drawings will have a more political view, and my emotions from the way trans people are being treated currently will have bled into my work, so if that’s not your thing please just scroll on.**
Another drawing inspired by a ‘found’ poem; this one is about Oscar Wilde. Did you know in Victorian society that two men being in a relationship was illegal, while lesbianism wasn’t! Queen Victoria said that “women do not do such things”: who knew?!

A pencil memorial piece I did for a friend a little while back. She was the fluffiest lil catto, and I hope I managed to capture her personality in this picture.
Next up is a drawing of popular Sesame Street characters Bert and Ernie. Ps: I don’t agree with the statement ‘too feminine to be straight’ it was just the vibes I was getting from the poem. There is no such thing as too fem/masc in my eyes!

Obtained a collection of poems which were begging to be illustrated; the first one is called Tinky Winky.
I don’t own these poems, this is just something I wanted to do for fun.

Decided to do a small figure study in charcoal!
I do find the human body very interesting. It’s both strong and delicate, the tiniest mishap could throw the whole thing off balance; but somehow it works!
I was very lucky to get some new watercolours for Christmas. ☺️
I’m still getting used to them, so it’s not perfect, but flying dragon steampunk boat seemed like the perfect starting piece!!!! 😁
Fulfilling my more spooky side with this pencil skull! I feel I should expand to non-human bones next..
Felted doggos I made for a Christmas present.
Only just able to post this, as I didn’t want to give the surprise away! But spent the whole of December making these. Was a lot of fun capturing each dogs personality in a little model.
Happy holidays folks, hope you all have a fabulous day 🙂
“The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear”
Day 12: Christmas doggo! Looking outside at the snow is much more preferable to being outside in the cold and wet 😆
Day 11: only one more post to go 😱
Something a little different; a snowy Christmas by the sea 🙂 bet the sea would be a tad nippy!!! 😆
Haha yahoo 🥳
(Probably doesn’t mean much I know, but mini celebration in any case 😆)
Day 10: a snowy Christmas market!!
The final countdown begins, only a week to go until the big day 😱🎄
Day 9: nearly there now, only three more pictures to go 😱
Some glass baubles from last year. Glad they are only a drawing, I’m too clumsy to own glass decorations in real life 😆
Day 8: a hobbit-y christmas!!
Day 7: a nice wintertime scene! I do find snow very pretty, as long as you don’t have to do anything and can stay indoors! 😆
Day 6: snails deserve a festive meal too! 😁🎄
Day 5: another day another artwork! This piece combines my love of books and old architecture 😁
Day 4 of arty advent! Another dragon themed one; helping Santa deliver the presents in time 🎅
3rd day of arty advent: a nice shiny bauble. Did this pencil drawing last year, and it’s still one of my favourite pictures so far!
Day 2 of arty advent!
This time a discworld themed watercolour piece: death of rats spreading Christmas joy. It seems hardly fair that the living get all the fun… 😆
Squeak!!!!
Arty advent day 1!!
Starting off strong with Christmas Smaug; even dragons deserve a visit from Santa 😁😆
Sample prints are being readied, which means: ART WORK PRINTS WILL SOON BE AVAILABLE 🎉
Keep an eye out if you wish to get your hands on one. 😁
Repost of a charcoal elephant 🙂
This December I will be posting every other day on the lead up to Christmas; an arty advent calendar!! So make sure you keep an eye out 😁🎄
