This weekend was the cherry on top of a roller coaster season for our team. We won some, we lost some, we celebrated, we cried, we worked hard and gave each race everything we had and more. Team Old School is humbled by this win. Never in our wildest dreams did we think that as rookies, we’d come out of the gates on top 2 years in a row. We’re still reeling and processing what this means for the team, but one thing we know is this sport is not for the faint of heart and it takes a village to accomplish what we have. We sit in the middle of a 25 hour drive home in deep gratitude for every person on our team. You ALL played a vital part this season and we couldn’t have done it without each of you. Soooo much love to you all!!

Still reeling from this weekend. It was surreal for us to win the last race of the regular season in front of a huge crowd of family and friends from home who came to cheer us on us in Ft. Myers Beach. It takes a village to do this racing thing and we are grateful to everyone who takes part in it with us. Here’s to 50+ years of keeping the Cigarette Racing Team heritage alive!🥇🍾🏆

Within the OPA organization we pride ourselves on being one big family. Family sticks together and supports each other through victories and pitfalls. Last weekend, one of our fellow racers suffered a heart attack in the boat during the race at Ft. Myers Beach. Luckily an OPA medical rescue team was on the scene instantly and were able to save Charlie’s life. He is stable and recuperating at the hospital now. As a family, let us all step up to the plate and help however we can to get Charlie back on his feet and back into his race boat. 🙏🏼

What a weekend!!! The OPA National Championship title came down to the last race of the regular season between us and Predator - we were in a “must win” situation coming into Ft Myers and we pulled it off! To win the race and clinch the OPA National title after such a wild season was an emotional roller coaster ride this weekend! Thank you ALL for your support and cheering us on!!!🏁🙏
