💓WHY WAS THE AGGIE FIND CREATED?💓

Aggie is a FIP kitty that understands the importance of fundraising as her Momma had to do this to help with Aggie’s treatment during her own FIP treatment journey. This Fund is inspired by and dedicated to all the support and kindness we received from fundraising efforts for Aggie. Her Mom made it her mission to start this fund to keep the positive support going to help other kitties in need just like Aggie was get a chance to beat this now curable FIP virus. Your kindness and generosity will help make this happen for other FIP kitties.

💕AGGIE’S FIP STORY💕

JUNE 2022

We got the devastating news. After spending ** days in the ICU we finally got the news that Aggie was diagnosed with feline infectious peritonitis (FIP).

At just 10 months of age Aggie was in the fight for her life.

She was diagnosed with dry, ocular (going completely blind from severe uveitis due to the virus), neurological, and affecting her bone marrow causing her immune system to be completely destroyed by the FIP virus.

BUT THERE IS HOPE!

After 24 hours of starting treatment they were able to pull her feeding tube she was eating on her own and finally after 17 days in hospital it was safe for her to finally return home. What an absolute miracle!

Her vision started to improve after 4-5 days and because of this treatment she has regained 100% of her vision back.

JANURARY 2023

Aggie was officially deemed cured of FIP and is now living proof that this treatment does work and is saving thousands of kitties lives every year.

Now she spends her time telling her story to help spread awareness and fundraising to give back and help other FIP cats.
