Dikec Yusuf, who only recently took up shooting after a particularly heated argument with his ex-wife, credits his success to his newfound passion for seeing his kids and a relentless drive to prove his ex wrong. "I never thought I'd be here," Yusuf said, shrugging nonchalantly. "I was just aiming for a weekend with the kids."
The 52-year-old, who works as a mechanic in a small garage in Istanbul, first picked up a gun during a particularly frustrating divorce mediation.
His unorthodox approach β no specialty gear, no training regimen, and a wardrobe consisting of his everyday jeans and a T-shirt β has baffled professional shooters. "He just shows up, shoots a near perfect round, and then asks if there's a smoking area nearby."
After winning silver, Yusuf stood emotionless on the Olympic podium and declared, "Sharon, if you're watching this, I want my dog back."

Yayoi Kusama, born in 1929, is a Japanese artist, sculptor, and designer known for her distinctive use of polka dots and her avant-garde contributions to the art world. In 2013, she was commissioned to style George Clooney for W Magazine's annual art issue. Kusama chose to dress Clooney in a suit and place him in a field of polka dots, which she refers to as "infinity nets."
During the late 1960s, Kusama was a celebrated figure in the avant-garde New York scene, much like Andy Warhol. She gained recognition for her racy fashion designs, furniture, abstract canvases, and her unique practice of painting naked subjects with her signature polka dots.
Kusama's fascination with polka dots can be traced back to her childhood when she began experiencing vivid hallucinations characterized by flashes of light, auras, and dense fields of dots. These hallucinations terrified her to the extent that she would hide in closets. However, Kusama found solace and empowerment in painting these psychological complexes and fears repeatedly, allowing her to overcome them.
In the early 1970s, Kusama's mental health declined, prompting her to return to Tokyo and admit herself to a psychiatric hospital. Despite residing there ever since, she has never ceased creating bold paintings, sculptures, fashion, and art installations. She continues to work from her nearby studio and exhibits her artwork worldwide.

The episode of Breaking Bad, "Ozymandias" is considered the best episode in the history of television.
The word is known from Percy Shelley's poem, published in 1818, which uses the image of a statue of Ozymandias to describe the inevitable decline of all leaders and empires no matter how powerful they were in their time.
In the series we see Walter White collapsing in the sand, as is said to have happened with the famous statue. In 2013, Breaking Bad released a promotional short in which Bryan Cranston read the entire poem.
Today marks exactly 10 years since its launch.
