Thank you, veterans, for your tremendous service to our country!
I am so humbled by the tremendous support that the team received yesterday for the Southern Lehigh School Director race. It has been so refreshing to see residents put aside national politics – Republicans, Democrats and Independents, all stacking hands for the betterment of our community. I am honored to take office alongside Melissa Torba, Emily Gehman, Tim Kearney and Eric Boyer this winter, and look forward to forging new relationships with the existing board. May we all remain focused on our district mission: Learning. Serving. Leading. One Interaction at a Time.
And a shout out to my wonderful husband, who has supported every step of this campaign. Love you, John Kruse. ❤️
It's been nearly 10 months since I officially decided to run for Southern Lehigh School Board, but it's something I considered for far longer. My commitment to being the eyes and ears for our community, and then its voice, has long underpinned my dedication to community service. It has been a long journey, and in some moments, a tumultuous one, but I'm so grateful for the past year of conversations. On doorsteps and at local businesses. On soccer fields and at community events. It's where I've learned more about not only your opinions and values, but also your whys. If you live here in Southern Lehigh, I ask for your vote today, for myself and .
We've been talking about money management with our kids, and wouldn't you know, we found a book in our library kit that talks about how school boards have to manage their money, just like households do!
Great article by The Morning Call today regarding the Southern Lehigh race. As a Southern Lehigh resident and a local nonprofit leader, I remain committed to the success of our community, ensuring that we take good care of our funds and our people.

What a great opportunity our community had on the 26th to hear directly from 7 of the 10 candidates on issues that affect our students and our taxpayers! Thanks to the League of Women Voters of Lehigh County for hosting us at Penn State Lehigh Valley - I spoke to several undecided voters after the event and they all found it extremely helpful in gaining more information about the candidates.

What I hear over and over again from parents in our district is that they want to understand how threats are dismissed. While the district cannot share specific details of specific incidents, a general conversation between the district and its families on standard processes is a great first step in giving parents the transparency they deserve.
