We enjoyed being together at our all-class fellowship Monday night and we’re already looking forward to returning on Jan. 8th after the break!

We hope you'll join us on Monday night (October 2nd) for our Bible navigation seminar at 6 pm. This is for everyone who wants to hear an overview from Genesis to Revelation and some helpful ways to study the Bible. Bring water or a soda and we'll provide pizza! See you soon!

This morning we prayed and prepared for our first class this coming Monday night! Can’t wait to see everyone! 

Life-changing!! Interested? Our class meets on Mondays from 7:00-8:30 pm and we’d love to have you join us. Online options available too. Classes begin on September 11th at Calvary.

The study of Isaiah shows that God can be trusted to accomplish His purposes through our pain. How does this encourage you today?

"Those who hope in the Lord will not be disappointed." Isaiah 49:23b

How do you hold onto hope when your world crashes in?

Isaiah described the brutal pain that awaited God’s people. While our lives may seem tame by comparison, suffering is a very real part of human life. Scripture calls believers to accept pain joyfully and trust God’s higher purposes. Does God ask what is impossible?

Perhaps Isaiah’s example helps us. He simultaneously declared what was hard and hopeful.

When your emotions or circumstances do not line up with truth, choose truth.

God always works to bring good and accomplish a purpose that brings Him glory. If you cannot explain or do not understand what God is doing with your pain today, fix your eyes on Jesus. ✝️

God used Isaiah to offer hope and comfort both then and today. "He tends his flock like a shepherd; He gathers his lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those who have young."
