Crochet Amis by Tiff
All the adorable amigurumis crocheted by Tiff
Anyone who knows me knows how much I loooooooove cats, so of course I had to crochet a cat amigurumi. My favorite color is purple, so that was the main color I decided to go with for this cutie. Pattern credit goes to little muggles.
This one was a special request by my son. It was certainly interesting to make, and I had a difficult time with some of it, mainly attaching the lines on the front and on the shell. He seemed to be really happy with it though, so I’m happy. Pattern credit goes to crochet_goods.
After I started to feel a little more comfortable with my crocheting I decided to branch out beyond Yoshi. I had actually planned this as a surprise for my husband, but before I was able to get started on it he asked me to make him a Shy Guy, so my surprise was no longer going to be a surprise 😬. This one was pretty fun to make, and fairly easy. The only part I really encountered an issue with was a smooth transition from the strap to the mask. Pattern credit goes to crochet_goods.
My third and final Yoshi was the purple one. You can definitely see the improvement between them. I really love my Yoshis, buuuut by the third one I was ready to move on 😆. Pattern credit goes to Ami Amour
My second try at Yoshi was a little better. I learned to make my stitches a little more even, and was able to improve my stitching a bit when seeing the parts together. Pattern credit goes to Ami Amour.
This year I decided I wanted to put my rusty crochet skills to work, just to see if I could. I saw an adorable little crochet Yoshi amigurumi and just had to try it. As you can tell, this was my very first try, and definitely a bit…derpy. By the end I was so happy to be done!
