For two Springs in a row, in March of 1974 and 1975, my family hired a photographer that came to our home and took pictures of me. He brought lights, and film, and everything else he needed for the job. In 1974 I was 2.5, so I cooperated with the shoot - sat where I was told to sit, played with the toys, etc. Next year, at 3.5 that plan didn't quite work - I was much more interested in the photographer and what he was doing than in being a pretty little princess. He dropped to the floor to get the angle he wanted? I immediately dropped too to see what he was doing. It came to the point where the only way to keep me in place was to give me something I was curious about - a film box. The last shot in this set is my favorite one - to this day, 50 years later, it is still so much me! Do you have a favorite childhood picture of you?
