The Members and Officials of the West Point Mandingo Association would like to send a special appreciation to Hon. Kebbeh F. Collins for donating LD$20,000 to the organization, in fulfillment of the promise she made during the induction ceremony of the newly elected Mandingo Tribal Chief and his deputy.

It can be recalled that during the inauguration ceremony of the newly elected Mandingo Tribal Chief on October 3, 2021, Hon. Collins served as Special Guest and vowed to support the leadership of the Mandingo Community.

Hon. Collins, over the years, has been a beacon of hope for the new generation of young people and, she always graces programs of different kind whenever she's been called upon. The leadership of this association is grateful to the office of the honorable and will always be in readiness to invite her presence on all our programs when the need rises.

Thank you once again for your support, Hon. Collins towards the building up and improvement of the Mandingo Tribal Chief and his corps of officers.

We want to express our heartfelt condolences to our Member Yaya Kromah and his family within the Township of West Point for the loss of his mother. With her passing, we have lost a great woman and a gem of a human.

On earth, she lived a truly meaningful life and was devoted not only to her family, but also to others. We shall miss her but her legacy lives on till eternity. May Allah have mercy on her ashes and grant her paradise. Ameena!!!

The leadership of the West Point Mandingo Association extends deepest condolences to one of our Executive Members in person of Mr. Kalifala M. Kromah for the loss of his father. This sad event occurred earlier this evening in neighboring Guinea 🇬🇳. May his soul and the souls of all faithful departed rest in eternal peace. Ameena!!

Today, 14th October 2021, the West Point Mandingo Association received a huge donation from Hon. Lusinee F. Kamara, the venerated Political Leader of the ALL LIBERIAN COALITION PARTY. The donated items include: ten pieces of plastic chairs, one office table and one office chair.

The intent of the donation is meant to support and assist the Tribal Chief, Losene Donzo and his leadership of the West Point Mandingo Community in running their offices within the Township of West Point. The tribal chief and his abled deputies are facing serious challenges, but the Political Leader of ALCOP has lessen some of those difficulties to ensure a vibrant representation of the Mandingo Community in West Point.

We want to thank the Political Leader of ALCOP for this kind gesture and the leadership assures you that the donation will be used for the internal purpose.

Today, we inducted into office the Tribal Chief and Deputy Tribal Chief of the West Point Mandingo Community since thirty (30) years of under-representation at the level of the local government and the Elder council of West Point. The program was graced by few dignitaries and national leaders who have long standing history and by extension had rendered their dedicated, committed and outstanding services to the Mandingo Community, State, and humanity in general.

Those national leaders who attended our induction ceremony included: Hon. Musa Hassan Bility- Chairman of Liberty Party-LP , Hon. Musa A. Sherif- CEO of Strong FM 98.3, Madam Kebbeh F. Collins- Former Representative Candidate, Amb. Ali Souleymane Sylla- Vice Chair for Inter party & Recruitment at ALCOP, Hon. Lusinee F. Kamara- Political Leader of ALCOP, and Madam Isata Sesay- Mandingo Governor within Montserrado County.

The program was unique, historic, remarkable, and ended successfully as those national leaders who came for the occasion made pledges and vowed to support the new leadership of the newly elected tribal chiefs - Mr. Losene Donzo & Mr. Musa Bamba.

At the same time, the tribal chief and his deputy stressed that as they've been elected by the Mandingo Community, they will ensure to work in the best interest of their people to protect, promote and enhance the transformation of the Mandingo Community.

The West Point Mandingo Association has undertaken a project during this Holy Month of Ramadan to identify with less fortunate Muslims within the Township of West Point. The organization leadership has made intervention through the donation of several food and non-food items at the various mosques within the Township.

The Founder and President of the association, Mr. Musa Sheriff, who is also a prominent son of the Township of West Point, said that the donations of food and non-food materials to struggling West Point Muslims at the various worship centers in the community are the organization own way of giving back to the Muslim Community during this Holy Month.

Besides, the President also said the Muslims in the slum community of West Point are the most vulnerable and left behind Muslims during this Ramadan, because no charitable organization has ever donated to the Muslims in West Point since the commencement of the Holy Month.

He added by appreciating all those people and humanitarians who heard to their pleads by accepting and responding to their letters which were sent out for assistance. And lastly, he expressed his thanks and gratitude to all members and officials of the association for being steadfast and committed to the principles guiding the institution.

Hon. Ansu Dolleh, Chairman of the ALL LIBERIAN COALITION PARTY donates five balls to the West Point Mandingo Association as a sign of fostering Goodwill and collaboration between the both institutions. The donation came as a result of the organization rendering humanitarian and community services in the township. In this light, the organization wishes to express its thanks and appreciation to ALCOP for the kind gesture and donation towards the association and hope to continuously work for the betterment of both institutions.
