Thursday Racing Review.
Old Glory Cup Series from Las Vegas, 134 laps, stages at lap 33 & lap 67.
Round 3 was my 2nd outing with these lads and I’ve quickly learnt that even tho it’s a real friendly bunch, they are quick and know their Ovals real well.
So I’m like an Aussie SVG with about 0.5% of the talent.
Aim this week, was to not wreck, finish mid pack or better and to stay on the lead lap.. 2 out of 3 ain’t bad.. going down 1 lap and only just missing out on a top 10 finish.

So Ambo’s venture into the American Oval Racing scene thru American Sim Racing (ASR) Super Speedway Series, didn’t turn out how he would’ve liked.
Running 20th thru Practice, Ambo managed to Quali 12th in a field of 34 Cars.
100 laps @ Daytona in the Red Dragon Nutritionals Xfinity Chevy with 50% fuel load, he managed to run in the Front end of the pack until a Hot Pit entry had him clipping the wall and receiving a Pit penalty (hold for 40sec) which saw him go 3 laps down early, but managed to work his way back up to 22nd by completion.
Next Week - Round 2 @ Atlanta.

G’day All, Happy New Year & all that stuff.
Many of you may be wondering what has happened to Sunday Racing, so I thought I’d write a post to confirm what we have in store for 2024.

Apologies for the delay, but have been toying to a few different ideas and formats, along with trying to attract a few sponsors that we would give naming rights to certain series… but here is what’s to come and will post further information thru the week.

MX5 Global Cup - starting Sunday 4th Feb
which will be the 2016 Global Cup Car, toying with the idea of open setups as there are plenty out there from previous Rumble seasons or bring your own, a mixture of Sprint, Endurance and combination race lengths, at mostly free tracks with a few others thrown in. 2 drop rounds to be included.
A handicap points system will also be trialled in order to keep all competitors in the championship hunt.

Masters of Mud - starting Wednesday 31st
Heat racing with different Track/Car combos covering Off-road, Dirt Oval & Rally X disciplines. Our first season of MoM will be free Cars & Tracks to make it accessible to everyone.

Other series in the pipeline that will make an appearance in 2024 are..
* Aussie Open - Various open wheel Cars at Australian locations.
* Race of Origin Ovals - Oval Racing, Mate vs Mate, State vs State.

Look out for post regarding these thru the week along with PopUp racing to trial a few scenarios.

This week sees us going back to basics and running a 150 lap race with driver changes scheduled each 25 laps. That means that along with the 5 laps of qualifying, each driver is going to get approximately 80 laps of driving for only $90!

Round 2 takes us to Road America for a 60min Enduro, joined by a tweaked GR86 which will hopefully bring some tight racing… Remember it’s not always the 1st across the line who wins.. Race Hard and Race Clean.
