Here are some pics from a small job in York Maine this week . The house suffered damage from the storm last month . The homeowner reached out to me asking what could be done about the very out-dated ceiling tiles .
After a inspection we determined that the structure the ceiling tiles were attached to are solid enough to simply go over the existing ceiling with a thinner layer of blue board and give it that beautiful veneer plaster finish .
Came out awesome , almost a shame to have to paint it 🤣.
The customer is happy and we are satisfied knowing that every time these folks walk into the family vacation home they have an aesthetically pleasing ceiling surface to live with .

Here are some pictures of a small job we did in Reading. The home owners had some new HVAC work done and due to logistics the duct work was left exposed.
No problem for us though we frame, install board, plaster and paint. One call was all that was needed.

This was a recent basement stairway project in Melrose Ma. The old horse hair plaster which has a life expectancy of about 100 years was ready to give up.
We went over the existing crumbling surface with a thinner layer of blue- board and secured it to the structure using long coarse thread screws, applied a thin smooth veneer plaster finish and produced a stairway that the homeowners would actually want to look at when they traversed up and down to the basement of their home.

Some progress pics of a full basement remodel that is underway in Wi******er Ma . Updated electrical , added many lights , framed in multiple soffits to hide electric plumbing and ductwork , boxed in columns , new board and plaster .
Up next is doors ,trim , paint and floor .

People often call me and ask if I care to be bothered with a small job and the honest truth is small jobs are my favorite .
This particular kitchen ceiling required demo after a water leak . The crown moulding was preserved and in good shape and with a little technical shimming during the board installation process I was able to create the straightest flattest ceiling in an old house .
There is a sense of satisfaction making something look better than it originally was . Next week will see a new fresh coat Benjamin Moore paint , the electrician can put the lights in and these folks have their kitchen back .

Here’s a couple before and after photos of the complete bathroom renovation that is almost done 👍 .Plumber and electrician will be done this week and it’s good to go .

On this bathroom remodel job we took on finishing the demo , some framing , installing tile backer board , new blue-board where needed and a nice smooth veneer plaster finish .
Our ability to do multiple trades work on one job site will always benefit everyone involved ! Less scheduling , less moving parts and less chances for confusion .

This is an example of how we do things.To save time many plasterers would install the blue board over the shower which is protruding a 1/4" inch from the framing which would result in a flared out wall that looks goofy.We take the time and do it right and have a nice crispy straight product.
That's why we work everyday no matter what!

Local home owner wanted to make his workout room/daughters playroom look a little more "homey" (is that a word?) and asked if we could skim over the block foundation....Of course we can!Did a little framing on this one to build a wall to block off an opening as well.
