A little different post today serving last night’s dinner of Meatballs in savoury sauce prepared in my new PADERNO cast iron Dutch oven.

I love how well it works on top of my electric stove. Heavy cast iron pot and lid make it very easy to retain the heat and moisture during the cooking process. 4.7L capacity is big large enough to prepare enough food to only serve our family of five but with plenty of left over to freeze for later.

Deep Atlantic Blue colour is very pleasant on eyes . Enamel coating is smooth and helps with equal heat distribution and retention.

If you like to cook or even if you don’t like but have to cook, this versatile cooking pot will add some fun to it.

Beauty Stat Vitamin C serum litmus test results prove that when reacting with skin’s water, it changes the Ph value of the skin.

It was a little fun chemistry experiment that took me back to my grade nine chemistry class where our first introduction to lab were these simple litmus tests.

I have already posted details about this serum that you can find by scrolling down my feed so let me tell you a little more about this experiment.
You see two strips top one where the colour is same on the strip, this is where I applied some serum on the dry strip and let it sit (that is why half of it looks wet ) Bottom strip however was dipped in a solution of water and serum and we can see it changed the colour to red-ish tone which indicates the change in PH level on strip.

Purpose of this experiment was to show how vitamin C serum reacts with skin’s water. I only studied chemistry till grade 12 so I don’t remember a lot but I do remember that yellow litmus paper turning red indicates the solution has acidic properties which makes sense for an Ascorbic acid serum.

Summer is around the corner and “sun kissed glow” is all the rage. How about we get that luminous glow along with sun protection in one product?

Supergoop Glowscreen Spf 40 is a glowy tinted sunscreen do it all. It hydrates skin giving it a gorgeous glow and works as a radiant makeup primer as well.

- Sunrise : Champagne Glow
- Golden Hour : Bronze Glow

Texture is like a thin lotion that quickly absorbs into skin and works well with other products I apply before or after it. The glow is beautiful and natural.

I tried these as a primer under my foundation for a dewy finish and also by mixing a drop of foundation in them to apply as a glowy tinted moisturizer and they worked great both ways.

Glow screen not only provides spf 40 sun protection but also skincare benefits with its hyaluronic acid and Niacinamide rich formula. It also helps filter the blue light and is non-comedogenic.

Supergoop recommends Glow Screen for normal, combination and dry skin. For my oily skin I used a setting powder on top and didn’t feel any extra greasiness though I still need to see if it will work for me when weather gets hot and my skin gets oilier.

Oh and after squeezing half of each mini tube for texture shot, I mixed both shades of squeezed out product together and made a custom shade which is even prettier than two original shades ✨
