~ I was finally feeling good enough to get outside for a run/walk today!
Although I was tempted to just go for it and start with a long run, I haven’t been able to exercise much these last 3 months, and have committed myself to moving slower and not pushing myself as much as I have in the past. Not only with exercise, but also with work and with saying yes to everything. Sometimes you need to rest.
I started today with alternating walking and running a mile at a time. I did 4 miles total and was tempted to run more, but I was able to not overdo it and I’m proud that I didn’t push myself too hard.
It’s been just over 3 months since I fainted and hurt myself, and to be honest, it hasn’t been the easiest recovery.
Part of what I learned from this experience is that I need to slow down. I often push myself to extremes and rush around trying to pack everything I can into a day.
It’s my nature to move quickly and this contributed to why I fainted. I jumped out of bed and got lightheaded, instead of sitting down, I kept walking and fainted. It was a difficult lesson for me and I have been working hard on changing this part of my personality. What’s something you learned the hard way?
We hope everyone had an amazing weekend and was able to get some fresh air and exercise ☀️🏃♀️🧘🏼♀️
It almost looks like I have a little halo 😇 above my head in this pic. If you spoke to my husband he would say horns 😈 would be more appropriate 😆
I took a blaze class before work today, and there was a lot of running on an incline of 10. I can feel it my legs already. 💪
I’m training early tomorrow morning (that will be my 4th day in a row) and then I’ll rest on Thursday. Remember rest is just as important as training. I hope everyone is having a lovely week so far. 💖🌸💖
Hoodie and leggings are from and they are my fave. Shoes are
I was speaking to a friend the other day who told me she doesn’t get that endorphin rush after a workout, and I was shocked. That is one of the main reasons Anna and I workout, and we thought it happened to everyone. But after doing a little reading, we found out there could be a few different reasons behind it. The first one is that a lot of people think that exercise isn’t supposed to be fun, so they stick with a specific workout even though they don’t enjoy it. Not enjoying your workout can affect if you get that rush or not. If you aren’t enjoying the exercises you’re doing, keep switching until you find one you actually enjoy and see if it makes a difference.
There are other things that can effect it as well, such as being depressed or anxious can make it harder for a person to feel endorphins. If you’re an anxious person or feeling down, try journaling or meditating before a workout to see if that helps.
Finally the intensity of your workout can also have an affect. You need to be getting in a medium to high intensity workout to feel the benefits of an endorphin rush. It doesn’t have to be a long workout, but try and get in at least 20 minutes of a medium to high intensity workout and see if that makes a difference.
If you like getting a longer workout in you could always do a low intensity workout for half, and then switch to medium/high intensity for the second half of your workout.
We hope this helps anyone that struggles to feel that “runner’s high” or endorphin rush at the end of a workout because honestly it is such a good feeling.
Have a lovely weekend everyone. 💖🌸💪
P.S. pic is from last Spring when Anna was over for a visit. 👯♀️
Happy 👯♀️ Kettie and I are working on a plan to see each other very soon. It’s really hard being apart, but it’s even harder being apart when one of us isn’t feeling well. Sometimes you just need your twin.
This pic was taken when we went to Cornwall for our birthday a few years ago. We can’t wait to be together again. We hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Sisters make the best friends. 👯♀️
Happy everyone 💖
How is everyone’s October going so far? It’s actually one of my and Kettie’s favorite months. 🎃👻🍂🧡
I took my son to a pumpkin patch over the weekend, and we had the best time hunting for the perfect pumpkin while also getting some steps in.
Remember to be kind to yourself today and all days, and speak to yourself like you would speak to your friend.
Cooling down after my run. 😊
The last several days have been too hot for me to run outside, but the temperature finally dropped and I took advantage of it. I went for a quick 4 mile run and it was a perfect start to my day.
Time to celebrate Father’s Day now. We are planning to go for a bike ride and then have dinner together later. Have a lovely Sunday and Happy Father’s Day to all the Dad’s!
We took this picture when we were in Camden when Anna was last here. It was a perfect sunny day, and we got lots of steps in walking all over. 💜
I’m taking a rest day after working out for the last 4 days in a row. I’m trying to be more mindful of actually resting. It really is important. Tomorrow morning I’ll be going to the gym early before work. I love my Saturday morning workout. Do you train on the weekends?
Have a lovely Friday and don’t forget to move your body. 🏊♀️🏃♀️🚴♀️
Yoga with my mini. 🧘♀️💜 Happy Monday everyone.
This pic is from when Anna was visiting about a month ago, and I miss her so much. Luckily I’m going to California to see her in August, so not too much longer until we are together again. 👯♀️
I went to work for a few hours earlier, and later tonight I’m going to go for an evening run. I love how light it stays here at night in the summer. Except for the part when my kids argue they can’t go to bed because it’s not dark outside yet 🤣
Hope you’re having a lovely week, and don’t forget to be find to yourself.
Hey guys happy Tuesday. 💜 This pic is from when Anna was visiting a few weeks ago. We went to Durdle Door and it was so fun. It is one of our favourite beaches we have ever been to. 🏖
It’s been a beautiful day in London with lots of sunshine. I’m just waiting until it cools down a little, and then I’m going to go for an evening run. Hope everyone is having a great week so far. 👯♀️💜🏃♀️
We don’t know if we could be any more than we are right now 🥰👯♀️
We went to in Central London yesterday and could not leave without these outfits. They are so cute and comfortable, we love them. 💜
It’s our last night together, and we going to order take away and watch a movie. It’s been such a fun week, and we can’t wait for August when we will be together again. Have a lovely weekend everyone. 💜☀️👯♀️
