My daughter is very fond of sweet buns. We often buy them in the store, but today I decided to bake cinnamon and sugar buns at home. Such buns are prepared very easily, it is a pleasure to form them. It turns out beautiful baked goods with a divine aroma. Everyone was happy with the result, especially my daughter. Try to make buns at home, because homemade cakes are much healthier and tastier than store baked goods.
To make buns with cinnamon and sugar, you will need:
For the test:
milk - 250 ml;
sugar - 4 tbsp. l .;
vegetable oil - 40 ml;
butter - 50 ml;
dry yeast - 1 tbsp. l. (no slide);
flour - 450 g.
For filling:
sugar - 0.5 cups;
ground cinnamon - 1 tsp;
butter - 35 g;
egg - 1 pc. (for lubricating buns).
Add 2 tablespoons of sugar and yeast to warm milk.
Stir and leave in a warm place for 10 minutes to activate the yeast.
Separately sift flour into a bowl (it is better to sift several times so that the flour is saturated with oxygen). Make a depression in the flour, pour the milk-yeast mixture into it, add the remaining sugar, vegetable and butter. The butter must first be melted in a water bath or in the microwave and cooled.
First stir everything with a spoon so that the flour is moistened, then knead the dough with your hands. The dough will turn out to be very soft, not sticky to hands and flexible. Put it in a bowl greased with vegetable oil, cover with a towel and leave in a warm place to rise. After 1-1.5 hours, the dough will grow well and increase several times.
Knead the matched dough and divide into 9 identical parts.
Prepare the filling: melt the butter and cool, in a separate bowl, mix the sugar with ground cinnamon.
On a table covered with flour, roll out one part of the dough into a layer about 0.5 cm thick.
Grease the dough with melted butter (it is convenient to grease the dough with a silicone brush).
Sprinkle the dough, oiled, with 1 tablespoon (or to taste) of a mixture of sugar and cinnamon, slightly stepping back from the edge (as in the photo).
Roll the dough into a roll.
Then fold it in half so that the seam is inside (like the photo).
Make an incision with a sharp knife, not reaching 1.5-2 cm to the end.
Expand the edges, giving the bun a heart shape.
Thus, form all the buns with sugar and cinnamon, put them on a baking sheet covered with parchment. Cover with a towel and leave in a warm place for 15-20 minutes.
Before baking, grease the buns with a beaten egg and send them to an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 30-35 minutes. The finished buns should be a nice golden color. The baking time will depend solely on your oven.
Delicious, fragrant, everyone's favorite buns with cinnamon and sugar are ready. Allow to cool and serve.

Today I want to share with you a recipe for a biscuit with poppy seeds. Such a sponge cake can serve as the basis for a delicious homemade poppy cake. To make a cake, the biscuit needs to be cut into several cakes and smeared with sour cream or custard, it goes well with sweet and sour jam. Preparing a biscuit is very simple, you do not need to beat the whites and yolks separately, but the baked goods keep their shape well. Great biscuit, try it!
To make a sponge cake with poppy seeds you will need:
eggs - 5 pcs.;
sugar - 1 glass;
flour - 1 glass;
poppy - 3 tbsp. l.
Additionally, you can prepare sour cream-poppy cream for serving:
thick sour cream - 4 tbsp. l .;
sugar - 3 tbsp. l .;
poppy - 2 tbsp. l.
A glass of 200 ml.
Prepare food.
Beat the eggs with sugar using a mixer (for 4-5 minutes).
During this time, the sugar should completely dissolve, and the egg-sugar mass will increase in volume several times.
Add the sifted flour, beat again at low speed of the mixer.
The dough should be completely homogeneous.
Add dry poppy seeds into the dough, mix with a spoon.
The consistency of the ready-made poppy biscuit dough resembles homemade sour cream of medium density, easily flows from a spoon.
Grease the pan with butter or cover with parchment. Pour the dough into the mold. I baked a sponge cake in a 26 cm cast iron skillet.
Bake the poppy seed cake in a preheated oven at 170 degrees for 35-40 minutes; do not open the oven during baking.
Check the readiness of the biscuit with poppy seeds with a wooden skewer (when puncturing the finished biscuit, the skewer should remain dry). Allow to cool slightly right in the mold, then run a sharp knife over the sides of the mold to separate the biscuit from the rim. Flip the biscuit onto a plate or tray and remove the mold. Let cool completely. The cooled biscuit must be kept for 6-8 hours, be sure to wrap it in cling film. I usually bake such a sponge cake with poppy seeds in the evening and let it rest until morning.
Aged poppy seed cake can be served with tea or used to make a cake. This time I made a very simple cake with sour cream-poppy cream, you can use any cream. Cut the sponge cake in two.
To make the cream, simply combine the thick sour cream, poppy seeds and sugar.
Put the finished cream on the bottom crust, then put the top one and reapply the remaining cream on the top of the cake.

Probably every person associates pilaf with meat, rice and vegetables. Today I want to share with you an unusual recipe for pilaf. It is also prepared from rice and vegetables, but without meat - it is replaced by dried fruits. The pilaf turns out to be very tasty, satisfying and spicy. To be honest, now I don't even know which pilaf I like more. I know for sure that lean pilaf with dried fruits will be a frequent guest on our table. It is better to serve such a dish hot. Try it, I recommend it!
To prepare lean pilaf with dried fruits you will need:
rice - 1 glass;
onion - 1 pc .;
carrots (large) - 1 pc .;
salt to taste;
seasoning for pilaf - 1 tsp;
dried fruits (prunes, raisins, dried apricots) - 200-250 g;
vegetable oil - 3-4 tbsp. l .;
garlic - 1 head;
water.

To prepare lean pilaf with dried fruits, prepare the necessary ingredients. Peel the onion and cut into half rings.
Peel the carrots and cut into cubes.
Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil and fry the onion over medium heat until transparent (3-4 minutes), stirring occasionally. Wash dried fruits and put on a sieve. Add dried fruits (raisins, prunes, dried apricots) to the onion and fry for a few minutes, then add chopped carrots. Cook, stirring occasionally, for another 3-4 minutes (until the carrots are soft).
Add salt and seasoning to the pilaf.
Place the head of garlic in the center, pour in half a glass of hot water and cook, covered, for about 10 minutes over low heat.
Then put the washed rice in an even layer. Pour in so much hot water that it is about 1.5-2 cm higher than the rice. You can add more spices if you wish.
Cook lean pilaf with dried fruits over low heat under a lid until water is completely absorbed (about 20 minutes). Then turn off the fire and leave it for another 10 minutes under the lid. Mix the finished pilaf gently.
Delicious lean pilaf with dried fruits is served hot.
