To me it has been quite the adventure. One that I should add, had me saying "Are we there yet?" to God over and over. I was not having fun sightseeing in my brain for the best way to convert what is literally and without exaggeration 200 plus award adventures into role playing video game worlds....

Working on Romans for our Lightening Leaders this a.m. I am struck by Paul's prolific writing. (no pun intended) I am equally struck by the struggles of humankind to be honest, to be honorable, to not participate in lies, propaganda, and manipulation of facts to gain - what? Power, favor, to win? Check out the cost - the wrath of God - it simply cannot be worth it. Prayer for today - that the truth be revealed and eyes be opened to the truth, so hearts can be healed by the knowledge. Good always triumphs. For this, I am very grateful!

Today is January 1st, 2024 and 2023 blew by at record speed. In fact, since the pandemic it seems time just moves at speeds I had not really noticed previously. My husband and I marvel how the time between noon and 6 pm seems to take about 25 minutes. Much of this delusion is driven by distractions, lack of focus and personal frustrations....

FB thinks children's books about Hanukkah goes against their "policies" which hysterically in their "community standards" goes to great lengths to say how important free expression truly is...as long as you tow the line and speak the speak that pleases them. Geez sound familiar?? News Flash FB - there is a God and you aren't Him and your sheer disappointment when you realize this will be a moment I will cherish. And yes I did try to appeal this - and of course it does not work and yes, maybe that is what the problem is and later it will let me - but, presently all the video book series stuff is posting with generic pink houses and when I update - I'm going against policy. UGHHHH!

The next couple of months are chock full of couple chaos for our family. Family friends have a son getting married and there are many wonderful celebrations happening over the next couple months. All the wedding fun has gotten me thinking quite seriously about marriage and relationships and love. I actually was reading some CS Lewis the other day and his take on marriage as it relates to Christianity....

Hey all - would love some thoughts on favorite scriptures for teens. Working on a devotional - just started putting some things together, but always love to hear what others find great in the bible besides everything. LOL.
Today we are prepping the home office to be a studio for our YouTube Channel. It was quite an undertaking but FINALLY it's just about done!!! Watch for our YouTube Channel Launch coming soon. And pray for me...video editing is my nemesis.

After much fussing in my last post, I did indeed go to look at other options for publishing. In the mix of doing the many things I do on the daily, I was looking for an option and also doing daily stuff. You know like emptying the ton of spam from your inbox. Well, the e-mail that I rarely use was about 4,000 emails strong - a feat that takes about 3 days....

That nasty old evil guy tries to thwart you at every pass. So, I have been diligently working to get a few of our children's books published and available through Amazon. I've used their KDP service before without too much complication when I published my first book "A Glimmer of Hope." Upon going online to work on these I noted that my paperback version of the aforementioned is not there anymore, just a Kindle version....

So we published 3 books on Amazon KDP - they didn't publish. HMMMM. Did it again. Didn't work again. Hmmmm. Looking for different direct publishing option thinking Amazon may not be the right venue for our books. Sometimes God closes a door for a reason. We shall be obedient and move forward!

The Littlest Lie is available on Amazon starting Friday!! Woo Hoo! Poor Leif is just a piece of paper, but he is having a bad day. It all started with one little fib. That fib starts a maelstrom of lying that leaves Leif filled with regret and so ashamed. Thankfully, he remembers about forgiveness and grace and Jesus' precious gift that might just help him get his act together again! This wonderful story about sin and forgiveness illustrates perfectly how mucked up life can become when sin tries to overrun us.
