Let me introduce myself!-

My name is Ashley Bobon and I am the girl behind the sewing machine! I am a new Mom to my sweet girl, Maelyn, who also happens to be a pretty cute little model. My family and I live in SW Michigan.

I unknowingly started what is now Dear Mae as I was preparing for the arrival of my daughter. I spent hours on the internet in hopes to find the perfect birth announcement outfit for her. As the overly picky, first time Mom, the traditional pink and blue striped hospital blanket and hat was not ideal and the swaddle sets I saw online were a little overused, expensive, or frankly, just not my style. So I dusted off my sewing machine and decided I'd make my own! I knew if I was having this struggle, others were too and Dear Mae was born!

But the use didn't end at the hospital! We still (at almost 4 months old) use her swaddle for bedtime. It also makes the perfect lightweight carseat blanket, shade cover for your stroller, a blanket small enough to throw in your diaper bag in case you need it to lay your baby down on, honestly, the list goes on for the ways in which we've found it useful! And don't get me started on how often we have her in a hat/headband! Easy thing to throw on to spice up an outfit!

My goal in starting this business is to provide cute, comfy, quality, and affordable baby items that can be used from the day of birth and throughout infancy.
