Ando used a Styrofoam cup to be the ideal container because its shape would allow it to hold the noodles while keeping it warm. The original three flavors were beef, chicken, and shrimp. Pork flavor was added in 1978.

Months after her baby passed, she revealed that she always catches Snow staying near where the photo of her daughter lay as if it was “guarding” her child.
“I always see Snow on the same spot. Parang binabantayan niya si baby and this time nilapitan [niya na nang] sobra,” Garcia said, noting Snow's close distance as seen in her post.
Further, she shared that Snow and her other cat, Bella, had kept her company during her pregnancy as she talked to them about her baby.
