Tickets are now available for the Sandstone Ridge Walk, Talk & Ride Festival, you can view all the walks in the programme which can be found athttps://www.sandstoneridge.org.uk/lib/F873725.pdf and includes a walk on Tuesday 17th September 'An alternative Sandstone Ridge' which wil be led by David Press on behalf of the Parish Council.

The last of the Openreach boxes has been primed this weekend by Tracy Manfredi.
The box is situated at the top of the village near Burton Square.
The location depicted will be Frodsham, which is the start of the Sandstone Trail.
Progress on the next Openreach box began today.
Local artist Nichola Burton began the box at the top of Eaton Road.(It’s now primed and ready to paint)
The location Nichola is representing is Whitchurch. The image she has designed will show the canal, and will include a hidden fox poem!

We have been notified of application 24/02210/CAT removal of 1 English Yew tree at Pepperpot House, 8 Forest Road, Tarporley.

The deadline to comment to Cheshire West and Chester Council is the 22nd August 2024.
We have been advised that Sapling Lane will be closed from the 5th August to allow United Utilities to carryout new water connections works. It is expected the works will take approximately 4 weeks to complete.
We’ve had great progress this week on our Openreach boxes!!

Also completed images of Rachael Carr's box which depicts Primrose Wood with a hare in the foreground.
Also the box situated near Burton Square is just being finished by Liz Taylor seen here seated in the sunshine. Liz’s box shows Delamere Forest with a heron , otter and fox.
Did you know that every box has a fox on it somewhere?
