It was nice to get the WSR Kahuna crew together to close the show at Renegade Raceway’s Nitro Nights under the Lights! Big shout out to Gus Foster, Robbie “Nitro Hunter” Crawford, Hal Westerlund, Jenny Van Unen, Jennifer Vincent and Dean Alexander for their help getting the car ready. The Kahuna ran a 4.40 at 169 mph in the 1/8.
We hope to have the Kahuna back for Renegade’s last event of the season, the Northwest Reunion Drags on October 7-8, presented by VP Racing Fuels!

Our heartfelt prayers and deepest condolences to the family and friends of Randy Harris. Randy was a true legend of Alaska drag racing and was inducted into the Alaska Drag Racing Hall of Fame in 2017 along with his Harris Brothers Racing team. His Glacier Shaker was one of the most crowd-pleasing cars to ever race in Alaska and he will be greatly missed by many. Godspeed, Randy.

It was great to shake down the WSR Kahuna FC again after a two year hiatus, running the car against Jeff Atamian’s Beast Jet Dragster during Renegade Raceway’s Fox Hunt. Thanks to our team captain Gus Foster, and Hal Westerlund, Marty Lentz, Betty Lentz, Scott Armstrong, John Phillips Racecraft, Robbie Crawford and Thom Cole for all their hard work getting the car ready!
