I enjoy sitting around and doing nothing with my little family. Just each of us playin around with our phones or watching movies or laying in bed. Just purposely being the opposite of productive. And I don’t consider one second of that time wasted.
Rest is productive in its own way. Sitting around and doing nothing can be good for us if we let it. Wasting a day away can be food for our souls. ✨

I feel like one of the best parts of creating art is being able to bring to life things you want. Like I really want a big old turquoise ring right now and drawing this one totally satisfied that urge (for now).
I also want a miniature pet crow but that's a whole other can of worms.

Hello, I’m back.
Grief is probably the strangest emotion to deal with. It ebbs and flows, disappears and then punches you in the gut.
My art has always come from deep joy, joy for life and love and nature. And I’ve had a hard time trying to tap into that recently. But it’s coming back. The itch to create.
All that to say, thanks for being patient with me, I haven’t disappeared, and more art and cool things are on the horizon. 🫶
