Dear Kindergarten Class of 2020,
You might not be a high school senior, but this was a big year for you also. You began your journey as a student. You met new friends, began to learn in a whole new way, and set the foundation for your educational career. I know how much you are missing so many things that were new and exciting to you, riding a bus on field trips, learning a schedule, having lunch with your peers, and developing relationships with others who may become life long friends. I know that this whole situation is hard for you to understand. I know that you miss your friends and teacher. I know that you were looking forward to so many fun things that were promised to you, like school trips and your graduation.
If you have a Kindergartner, copy and share with his or her picture.
❤️❤️❤️
Good morning families!
Your teacher should have sent you a message through one of the platforms (Talking Points, Class Dojo, Seesaw, or email) with our new and improved WAG (Week-at-a-Glance). Thank you for being flexible and patient with us, as we streamlined our process for you all. We will be sending you a WAG on Sunday nights that will give you the instructional expectations for the week ahead. This WAG is a simplified version of the district provided learning packet and includes the required tasks for each subject, as well as, times for small group learning and whole group ZOOM calls. This WAG will include video links that you can watch before you complete the task, as well. This will be sent to you in a PDF format to ensure you can access it from any form of technology (cell phone, tablet, computer, etc.). Each page outlines that day and the highlighted portion are what is required and what should be sent to your teacher for feedback. Your teacher is keeping a document with completed assignments and feedback.
Thank you for all you are doing for your students to ensure this is a smooth process! We appreciate you!
Feel free to share this page with other Kindergarten families of HFES to get updates from us, as well!

For social studies today, you can draw two pictures of a room in your house - the first picture is what you see when you enter the room and the second picture is what you would see if you looked down from the ceiling. This shows a birds-eye video of the room! Here's an example! Be sure to show your teacher!
