Also got the opportunity to work on this! An authentic WW1 trench torch!
The leather wrap was dried out and falling off so I was asked if I could do something with it. Had a small piece from a mystery bundle that fit the bill just right.
Finished up a little birthday present for a customer. Was asked for something simple so they got a simple bi-fold with ID window and a 24 card insert. Main body is dyed vegtan with premium calf skin interior and .6mm Ritza thread.

It may have taken me a month, but it’s finished and I’m very proud of it. This is the first big project I designed from scratch.
This bag was custom designed for Mr. Karl Stobbe, a violinist with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, to carry his violin and bow cases while he is traveling the world!
It is designed to be a duffle bag that falls within airplane carry on specs. It can also stand on end when space is limited. When walking around sight seeing, it can be worn as a backpack with quick release straps.
The bag itself is made out of Frida Mocha chrome tan leather with antique copper hardware. The pocket gussets and iPad pocket are made with premium calf skin and it’s all 100% hand sewn together with .6mm Brown Ritza.
Thank you for the opportunity Karl and I look forward to the pictures.
A little glimpse into my biggest commission project so far. I am really excited for this one
