Full Type R Trophy spec including the optional bits.
Built by Area Motorsport initially as a foundation car.
2 sets of wheels with used tyres.
Strong engine made 218bhp on the official dyno.
Rear arches have been welded up and one small patch on the sill, the rest of the sills are solid.
Ready to go in Type R Trophy, racing hondas and many other series.

It's not pristine, it's had a few knocks as you can expect from 2 years of racing but nothing major. Mechanically it has been looked after, serviced regularly with quality oils and parts.

Never did a proper post for this...
Went back to endurance racing last weekend in the 750MC Club Enduro finale.
This was my first time in the / powered MX5 and my first time properly driving a RWD car. Apart from that time I put my c class into a lamp post / wall 😂🤦‍♂️.
Matt went out first in qualifying and got us a time on the board, I went out 2nd but hindered by clutch issues I just got a couple of sighting laps in but was unable to push on at all. An issue that was sorted by the team afterwards.
The race turned out to be very very wet, again Matt took the wheel for the first half of the race, working his way through the field. By the time I took over the rain had stopped but the track was still wet and greasy, it took me basically the entire stint to work up to a decent pace. I still didn't quite get to the limits of the tyres or though. Plenty of time left on the table I reckon.

All in all a great day going back to endurance racing at Silverstone, it brings back memories of my first ever race there in the C1. I hope to get more time in the car at some point....

Hopefully my doctor doesn't see this post 👀🤣... Fun last minute day out to Snetterton to join in for the last round of Racing Hondas Championship , picked up 2 trophies 👌. Thanks to JDF Racing for sorting it out and Michael Fez Ferris for doing all the heavy lifting.

Happy to say I am finally out of hospital 🥳
23 days, 2 surgeries and for a brief time being fed through a tube in my arm it's been rough.

Unfortunately I'm still 2-3 weeks away from being healed and able to drive so I am gutted to say I will not be driving at the final rounds at Donington this month. The car will still be there and we do have a stand in driver arranged to close out the season. I'll be there as well to catch up with everyone all being well.

Thanks for all the messages while I've been in hospital, it has helped me through a lot.

Bit of a health update.
The surgery kept getting pushed back until finally carried out late on Sunday 27th. Initially seemed to have worked and things were looking good unfortunately not lota of pain again and a CT scan revealed I had another blockage and have today been for another surgery.

As lovely as the staff here at NGH I really need to get out of this place. Been in here over 2 weeks now ans totally fed up. I hate this disease.

This was supposed to be a Silverstone update post but Colitis socks camel dicks.

Felt really ill and in a lot of pain Sunday, adrenaline seemed to get me through the races though.

I was admitted to hospital when I got back and have been there since. Short of an over night miracle tonight, tomorrow I will be having emergency surgery to fix a hernia and obstructed bowel.

Wouldn't normally post stuff like this, not doing it for sympathy or attention but I said from the start I would raise awareness for this disease.

So race reports can wait a few more days lol

This weekend we head to Silverstone for a triple header. I made my racing debut here back in 2019 in the 24hr so I'm really excited to go back.

CADWELL PARK RNDS 7,8,9

We had a decent weekend at Cadwell Park. Having never driven the circuit before I was glad to have a test day to learn it. A bit too much time spent in traffic in qualifying but lined up in 13th which I was happy with.

Race 1 made decent progress on a damp track, was on for a P11 but got too impatient coming out of the final corner and did a bit of rallycross, eventually finished 15th

Race 2 again was decent progress, a bit mote rallycross this time to avoid a crash that happened right in front of me. A good bit of battling with Jones, finished 12th.

Race 3 I think we got tyre pressure wrong. It was much hotter than I anticipated and my tyres were done pretty early, understeer galore. But another 12th place finish.

Overall it was a good weekend, I really enjoyed Cadwell and definitely want to go back, it's a bight tight when 30 civics are fighting for the same bit of track though 🤣 A bit disappointing to still be outside of the top 10, but edging closer and feel good for Silverstone.
