Two Is For Mirth
Handmade talismans and adornments of wire, stone, jewel and metal. The finished work weaves together the Order and Chaos of our natural world.
Two is for Mirth is the labor of love of Lane Ellen, who revels in the arts and mediums of antiquity with the benefit of modern touches. Each piece is lovingly hand fashioned by the artist, inspired by the skills of her ancestors and what resources they had at their fingertips. Norse wire weaving has been in existence since the 9th century, the chains used to make jewelry, clothing trim, and decor

The 53212 Marketplace hosted by is always one of my favorite events. I see so many beloved friends who either are also vendors or showing up to this was my set up in the motorcycle shop there.
Bronze with seed beads, this piece turned out so nice. I could make a necklace and a bracelet, or a couple bracelets. Which would you prefer?
Don’t forget!! ArtBar pieces are still up till the end of the year! These make unique gifts and they are one of a kind.
Got some gemmy goodness in process.
The 17th is another famed 53212 Holiday Market. I love this space and I can’t wait to see folks there! I’ll have weaving art, flame painted jewelry and Viking knit!
These three are now at Art*Bar and I noticed that two of the ones up have sold! Thank you for giving a home to my pieces.
Flame painted copper is back too! This time with spirals.
The warmth of Copper spirals and rubies—I’ll be bringing this to this Sunday at Turner Hall 10-3.
Also busy in the wire knit mines for some beauty pieces for this weekend. Come on out on Sunday to Turner Hall and check it out!
For Cream City Creatives event on November 19th.
