We conducted the General Body Meeting of TNOA yesterday in Chennai. Against the backdrop of the achievements of our players at 'Asian Games 2023', and the upcoming National Games & Tokyo Olympics 2024, several key discussions happened in the meeting.

An essential checkpoint in the Road to the Olympics Medal is the 'Asian Games 2023'. Playing with some of the sport's heavyweights, and reaching the Podium is a grand achievement. I'm proud of all athletes from India who have reached this spot, and especially the sportspeople from Tamil Nadu.

TNOA General Secretary & BFI President Mr. Aadhav Arjuna shared his thoughts about the BFI Elections, upcoming plans for the Federation, and his journey in sports administration with Deccan Chronicle
Basketball Federation of India President & TNOA General Secretary Mr. Aadhav Arjuna has mentioned that they had a progressive and development-oriented meeting with the Hon'ble Minister for Youth Welfare and Sports Development of Tamil Nadu Mr. Udhayanidhi Stalin yesterday (12 July 2023).
They discussed different initiatives including bringing several International Sports events and Championships, and International-standard training facilities among other initiatives to Tamil Nadu.
BFI President & TNOA General Secretary Thiru. Aadhav Arjuna met the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Thiru. M. K. Stalin and got his wishes post being elected as the President of the Basketball Federation of India.
Mr. Aadhav Arjuna mentioned that the Hon'ble CM suggested bringing various international Basketball tournaments to TN, creating training facilities that match global standards, and ensured full support.

TNOA General Secretary Mr. has noted that he is incredibly happy and proud to know that 7 Athletes from Tamil Nadu will be representing India at the 'Asian Athletics Championships 2023' to be held in Bangkok, Thailand.
He conveyed his wishes to them and to the entire Indian Contingent taking part in the event.
TNOA General Secretary conveyed his heartfelt congratulations to JP Dhanyadha on her exceptional achievement at the Asian Track Cycling Championship 2023 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He also added that she has made Tamil Nadu proud with this prestigious Silver Medal and by breaking the National Record.
TNOA General Secretary Mr. conveyed his best wishes to the Tamil Nadu Women's football team on winning the 2022-23 National Football Championship and for achieving this feat with an unbeaten record at the even.
I met this optimistic man, Mr. Govindarajan, today in Chennai at the Masters Athletic Association's XIX Chennai District - Masters Athletic Championship 2022. At the age of 95, he won the 100M & 200M competition. I joyfully congratulate him and his confidence and exuberance are beacons of hope for the future, lessons that all youths should learn.
Today I inaugurated the XIX Chennai District - Masters Athletic Championship 2022 organized by Masters Athletic Association in Chennai. I congratulated the winners of the competition with prizes.
