A violinist played for 45 minutes in a New York subway. A handful of people stopped, a couple clapped, and the violinist managed to raise about $30 in tips.
No one knew this, but the violinist was Joshua Bell, one of the best musicians in the world. In that subway, Joshua played one of the most intricate pieces ever written with a violin worth 3.5 million dollars.
Two days before he played in the subway, Joshua Bell sold out a theater in Boston and the seats averaged about $100.
The experiment proved that the extraordinary in an ordinary environment does not shine and is so often overlooked and undervalued.
There are brilliantly talented people everywhere who aren’t receiving the recognition and reward they deserve. But once they arm themselves with value and confidence and remove themselves from an environment that isn’t serving them, they thrive and grow.
Your gut is telling you something. Listen to it if it’s telling you that where you are isn’t enough!

Here are some interesting facts about the dandelion flower:
The dandelion is the only flower that represents the 3 celestial bodies of the sun, moon and stars. ☀️🌙 ⭐️. The yellow flower resembles the sun, the puff ball resembles the moon and the dispersing seeds resemble the stars.
The dandelion flower opens to greet the morning and closes in the evening to go to sleep. 😴
Every part of the dandelion is useful: root, leaves, flower. It can be used for food, medicine and dye for coloring.
Up until the 1800s people would pull grass out of their lawns to make room for dandelions and other useful “weeds” like chickweed, malva, and chamomile.
The name dandelion is taken from the French word “dent de lion” meaning lion’s tooth, referring to the coarsely-toothed leaves. 🦁
Dandelions have one of the longest flowering seasons of any plant.
Dandelion seeds are often transported away by a gust of wind and they travel like tiny parachutes. Seeds are often carried as many as 5 miles from their origin!
Animals such as birds, insects and butterflies consume nectar or seed of dandelion.🐦 🐛 🐜 🦋 🐝.
Dandelion flowers do not need to be pollinated to form seed.
Every part of the dandelion is useful: root, leaves, flower. It can be used for food, medicine and dye for coloring.
Dandelion can be used in the production of wine and root beer. Root of dandelion can be used as a substitute for coffee. 🍷 🍺
Dandelions have sunk their roots deep into history. They were well known to ancient Egyptians, Greeks and Romans, and have been used in Chinese traditional medicine for over a thousand years.
Dandelion is used in folk medicine to treat infections and liver disorders. Tea made of dandelion act as diuretic.
If you mow dandelions, they’ll grow shorter stalks to spite you.
Dandelions are, quite possibly, the most successful plants that exist, masters of survival worldwide. 💪
A not so fun fact: Every year countries spend millions on lawn pesticides to have uniform lawns of non-native grasses, and we use 30% of the country’s water supply to keep them green.

This baby panda was sent from China to Japan as an ambassador for the friendship between the two countries.
On the flight, instead of being locked in a cage under the animal compartment, the bear was instead sitting in the passenger cabin, with his caregiver, wearing a seat belt, wearing a diaper and enjoying bamboo leaves during flight.

Oh, interesting, it's like chemistry. Instead of dealing with chemicals in the lab, we're dealing with coffee in the condiment bar. 😅
A new study in the USA found mushroom consumers had 16% less risk of dying—from any cause—during the 20 years they were followed up in the study. The news is even better for vegans who swapped out one serving daily of red meat for : they had a stunning 35% less risk of death in those 20 years. This directly translates into longer life. Mushrooms are packed with hard-to-get nutrients like beta-glucan, selenium, vitamin D2, bioactive peptides, glutathione and ergothioneine. Each nutrient has specialized functions, with the result that this superfood has been linked to less risk, boosted immunity and better (see comments). All for just 22 calories per delicious serving.

Dati nagtataka ako kung bakit gustong-gusto ni tatay ng kape.
Bago umalis patungong trabaho, magkakape. Pag-uwi galing trabaho magkakape.
Tara, kape tayo.
