Moose River Glass
Things have changed since I first started this page.
I started with handcrafted jewelry, and as my lampworking skills grew I realized I liked the diversity and possibilities that sculpting hot glass offered.
I think I need to make more of these, because right now we need all the joy we can find.
Quickie sketch. Little cutie. Some people consider chipmunks to be a nuisance. I know they can cause a little trouble, but honestly, aren’t they just trying to survive ? Just like us!
Day two . Lots of awesome artists! Great gift ideas! Christmas is coming!
Ari wants to be part of my display this weekend at Mayday Underground at the Village Gate. I don’t know how to tell him that he can’t come. But you can! Saturday and Sunday, 10-5. .
Back to the five minute morning sketch. Finishing things up for this weekends Mayday Underground show at the Village Gate. Trying to get things wrapped up to send off to the shops that I sell in and get ready for my daughter’s 40th birthday cruise . All wonderful things to be tied up with. But I also have the election on my mind. Doing these quick sketches helps quiet my mind, if only for five minutes.
Cindy of Moose River Glass is the dreamer and maker of all things tiny, made from colorful handblown glass. Goofy, whimsical, cute, and sometimes “ugly”, she creates things to make you giggle. They will keep you company at your desk, make a window sill happy or fill those tiny boring nooks with joy. Her favorite things to make are birds, animals, anime and kawaii. But her work isn’t limited to those. She has lots of great gift ideas, like adorable cake testers, colorful acorn ornaments and the tiniest of vases, all made from glass, sculpted with a torches flame.

Morning sketch. Think what you want about mice, but I think they are adorable! Unless the cat is chasing them around the cottage at 1am.
