The struggle is real folks! The power that we allow comparisons to have on our life is really astounding if you think about it. We literally compare everything to other people! I’m kinda sick of living my life like that, are you? It’s “too much,” overwhelming, unsatisfying, tormenting. Am I right?

Let’s pray 🙏🏼 for each other today. Let’s pray that GOD’s voice is louder than our inner voice, comparing who WE are to who others are. Let’s pray for each other to bloom and grow. Let’s be set free from comparison, together. Let’s ask God to replace our comparison attitude with an attitude of gratitude (sounds silly but I bet it works!) Let’s ask the creator of the universe to create a heart change in us! He can do it!

We are so excited to announce a new offering at the studio to help local families during this blended school year!

✏️ The Classroom at Create In Us

🏫 The Classroom at Create In Us will provide students with supervised daily care in a structured environment while also letting them explore their creative side through hands-on art based activities.

🖍 The Classroom at Create In Us will Feature:
-a full day experience for when your child is out of school for remote learning
-daily routine and structure
-daily remote learning time to support your child’s virtual learning requirements
-hands-on creative activity time
-daily outdoor time-weather permitting-a nice stroll through downtown Mount Holly for fresh air and a bit of exercise-we may even visit the Community Garden from time to time
-games and other activities

📝 The Classroom at Create In Us is open to Gaston County Public School students that are enrolled in blended
learning and that are entering 1​ -5​ grades.

🗓 Our classroom is open Monday/ Tuesday and Thursday/Friday from 9:00am until 2:00pm ​– all children MUST be picked up by 1:55pm each day.​ The Classroom will be closed each Wednesday for cleaning. To maintain social distancing standards our classroom is limited to 10 children for each group.

💻 Each child will need to bring with them an electronic device on which they can do their school work digitally -please CHARGE devices at night so they do not need to be plugged in as our outlets are not in close proximity to all tables. Children will also need to bring clearly written log in ID’s and Passwords so that they are able to access any sites/systems on their own that they will need to complete their assignments. Headphones/Earbuds are also required. Any additional materials such as workbooks, notebooks, paper, pencils, etc will also need to be brought from home if needed for assignments.

🍴 Students will need to bring their own lunches each day. Please send lunches in containers in which the child can open themselves. Refrigerator/microwave will not be available for use so please plan accordingly.

🚨We are taking every precaution we can to keep our staff and your children safe while attending this program. In order to mimic school requirements as well as follow CDC requirements, staff and ALL children will be required to wear masks. Temperature checks at drop off, frequent handwashing, access to hand sanitizer, as well as social distancing work areas are some of the practices that will also be implemented.

👩‍🏫 The staff at Create In Us will be there to monitor your child and encourage them to complete their school work however, tutoring is not available and we are not responsible for guaranteeing that a child’s work is being completed.

💵 Pricing for The Classroom at Create In Us is as follows: Option 1: Monday/Tuesday Attendance $80 per week Option 2: Thursday/Friday Attendance $80 per week
You will choose the option for the days your child has been assigned “virtual/remote learning days” by Gaston County Public Schools.

🖊 Advance sign up and payment will be required. Each group is limited to 10 children. Registration for The Classroom will go live once all communication from individual schools to families has been completed.
