All deans were exposed to various scenarios that could occur in their daily routines.

Understanding existing procedures and policies aids decision-making.

Don't forget that humanization factors are important considerations in every decision.🌹

Day 1 | ADeL Series 2 | 5 March 2024

Enthusiastic all participants on the first day of the 2nd Series. These are the deans who will lead Malaysia’s higher education institutions towards glory 💪

We have been fortunate to have YBhg. Professor Emerita Datuk Dr Asma Ismail with us 😍

She passionately delivered the topic of Change, Conflict, and Risk Management 🤝

With real experience of managing a university before, she provided scenarios that can happen and how to handle them. This can lead the participants, or at least provide them with insight, in resolving challenges in orchestrating the faculty as deans 💪

Tan Sri Zarinah Anwar was in the house yesterday! 🤩
We were proud to have Tan Sri Zarinah with us sharing her experiences with the participants.

She talked about talent management and people skills, and highlighted a few important things: Performance vs Potential and Monitoring vs Coaching.

Hope this session inspired all the participants@deans to recruit more future potential leaders.

Day 3: 21 January 2024

Mission accomplished 🥳. Adel series 1 has ended successfully. Two lectures were delivered on the third day, started by Prof Dato Dr. Noor Azizi Ismail with the title 'Institutions and Governance'. Followed by Prof Dr. Durrishah Idrus with the title 'Social Competence'.

In addition, Series 1 ended by equipping the deans with the skills to convey ideas and information in a precise and concise manner using the TED Talk presentation method, delivered by the PM. Dr. Ramesh@Zaidi bin Rozan.

ADeL Series 1: 19 - 21 January 2024
Day 2 - 20th January 2024, Saturday

Alhamdulillah the second day went well, despite of its hectic schedule. The day started of with insightful talk by YBhg. Prof. Datuk Ir. Dr. Wahid bin Omar with title of "Kepimpinan Holistik" towards leadership excellence in transformative journey and followed the talk given by YBhg. Datuk Nik Mohd Hasyudeen Yusoff which previously positioned as Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer from Lembaga Tabung Haji with title of "Pemikiran Strategik & Minda Keusahawanan".

The next session followed by Case Study of Leadership Strategic Thinking & Governance where all the dean offered their valuable insight and engaging in meaningful experience with mentors and colleagues in smaller group.

In the evening session, YBhg. Prof. Dr. Zaidatun bin Tasir engaged the audience with Strategic Action Plan (SAP) talk to enhance their readiness and strategy for SAP task. As the requirements for ADeL, all the dean have to present their idea for SAP to the others.

Looking forward to more intellectual and collaborative journey of the event.

Alhamdulillah, the first day went well yesterday😊. The program started with a talk by YBhg. Prof. Dato' Dr. Ahmad Farhan, Vice Chancellor of UPM with the title Strategic Planning Framework for SAP (Strategic Action Plan). Thank you, Dato' Dr Farhan 👍
